126 on 12 Sept 150 on the 14th
Stakes being built by hedgies taleios now owns 24% and Gilead have joined in and Duke university too.

MCB is so far under the radar I am amazed they have even heard of the company let alone owning a third of it

Dull and fallingWrote to the company for clarification of some statements but received no response. That doesn't fill me with enthusiasm. Unprofessional.

McBride is the unnamed partner in today's rns announcement from Versarien (VRS). An excellent liaison! Versarien has very strong government backing (see last week's rns announcement); a government that is keen to see progress to a greener plastic packaging industry.

Been scouring company data all week to find a possible bargain and this week's candidate is MCB.

The half year report (in late February) resulted in the shares being hammered but did include this:

"The Group remains confident in the development of its strategy and believes it is particularly well placed in light of its recent success in securing a number of significant business wins as a result of competitor weakness.



As a consequence the Group's Household activities are progressing well and are expected to deliver significant growth in the second half. The PCA business has seen disproportionate impact from inflationary pressures and market dynamics resulting in trading losses. The Group expects to shortly launch an accelerated transformation plan to return the division to break even within 18 months."


The shares could be due a bounce. DYOR etc etc.

One helluva spike at 3pm today- whats that about? Looking at last years dates there may be a trading update due imminently. High volumes today too.
