Posted at 17/6/2021 06:08 by ianguerin I took it to be the only distribution but will happily accept another one. I see the erstwhile chairman has encountered issues with his remuneration from his main employer, as reported in the press during the last week. A shame he didn't earn an honest crust by keeping MUBL on a sure business footing |
Posted at 06/9/2018 11:32 by miamisteve The delisting being resoundingly voted down, suggests that there may be a reverse takeover on the cards. This happened with another stock I owned a few years back, where they backtracked on delisting after multiple approaches from outsid3 entities. I ended up with the proposed special dividend and shares in the new company which added a further 10% to the value. However given the low mkt cap here, it should be significantly higher. |

Posted at 14/8/2018 15:09 by dave4545 A sad day.Used to love trading AMU and then Mubl, was one of my most profitable stocks to trade. Amazing how it's been destroyed from a heavy profitable cash cow to this now. |
Posted at 16/3/2018 23:47 by kazoom Hi David,I haven't looked in on MUBL for ages,I had a very small involvement some years ago - I thought it was a decade ago, but as I recall the bizarre change of focus from CDs/DVDs to bird food it must have been a little more recent. Not sure if it is totally the same business or not, but they bought the garden centres business in 2012 in a bundle for £0.72m so perhaps the sale for £0.8m isn't "too bad" especially IF they made profits in between. If I ever run out of "important stuff to do" then I'll be sure to research this in more depth (and Active Energy Group - which has some similarities) as there must be a Hollywood blockbuster in there somewhere. More seriously though - was your penultimate post serious? Is there actually a possibility that there is now an asset play here? I really can't get motivated to dig and look , but if I felt you were not joshing I might be inclined. |
Posted at 06/12/2016 16:36 by hatey Not sure what to make of today's action.Resolutions dropped then 400k gets crossed. I cannot recall from memory seeing a bigger trade in MUBL or AMU in the old days. So somebody wants them for a reason ? |
Posted at 22/8/2016 07:42 by hatey Results today nothing said. I think they were really good.Big turnaround to small profits and they increased the cash as well despite the listing costs. 2.5 mil cap, cash 1.9 mil and business growing from large losses to small profits. The good old times of Amu/Mubl might be ready to return. |
Posted at 03/6/2016 07:19 by philjeans anon - Keith Staton is MD of ESD WHOLESALE ;E S D Wholesale, Farnham Royal, 4 Park Road farnham-royal.cylex- ESD Wholesale for cds ... Accessories, Media, Distribution, Game, Tape, Dvd Video Cds Tapes, Music Dvds, Esd Wholesale Ltd The company E S D Wholesale is listed in ... Same sort of business that MUBL WAS in - still have a tiny bit I believe. So I imagine he knows quite a bit about MUBL and it's directors, strategy etc. And as MUBL has suddenly, unexpectedly and illogically brought in two high-powered NON execs with "restructuring skills" I reckon we could see some corporate action very soon. Seems Mr Staton might think the same. NAI DYOR |
Posted at 02/6/2016 21:26 by annonymous2 First of all you have a market cap almost covered by cash.Bit like Cltv when it was sub 1.4p offer and Vis at sub 1.5p offer you can sense there is serious value here now Wish I had spotted the Rns but the price has still not left the station. And of course I love Mubl/Amu I made a killing from it several times over a 5 year spell so nothing but fond memories of this stock. |
