Its heading higher because folk are buying into the story of the new assets and recognise this was way too cheap with the activity and newsflow to come.

Even now, its cheaper than most smallcap oil explorers, many of which do not produce anything other than jam tomorrow. This has got very far to go yet.

At SC, they are trying to enhance it prior to sell-off. Nothing major or capital intensive. Not sure about ZR.

Yes, you read that here:


"Morris #1 is currently producing at a rate of 16-18 bopd and approximately 260 bowd from the Upper Anacacho (4,823'-27')

o Upper Anacacho formation was identified by the Company's proprietary Roke Quad Neutron electric log during initial operations targeting the Lower Anacacho
-- Production from Morris#1 expected to be significantly enhanced following:

o Acid stimulation, which is standard practice on chalk formations, planned next week on the Upper Anacacho to increase natural fracture connectivity inherent to chalks - this is based on strong pressure and fluid levels

o Acquisition of a salt water disposal well being finalised to manage water produced from the Upper and Lower Anacacho formations. This will allow production from both zones to be commingled by removing the sand plug from the Lower Anacacho, which produced at an initial production rate of approximately 4 barrels of oil per hour during the original testing (see announcement dated 19 October 2017)"



Once they stimulate upper anacacho zone, improve production levels and co-produce with the larger lower anacacho zone, we will hopefully be headed to the short term target of 60bopd, then march on towards 500bopd.

They say you need to crater before making a comeback. Well, Mayan certainly did crater under the weight of poor management, difficult assets and low oil price environment.

At £2-£3mln, this was a screaming opportunity and continues to be so with all the activity and production targets they are working towards. Particularly if they can prove the phase 1 targets. This is like a phoenix from the ashes.

They are going for 400-500bopd medium term, a number produced by companies that are valued by the market between £16-£40mln.
