Hope you recovered on HIBU, I took a big chunk in transfer of your wealth at the time. Unfortunately I took another big chunk of your wealth on QPP at 18p to 7p.

Number 1 told you be very careful on hibu but you would not listened at all. Just on hibu loss multiple 6 figures and then QPP disaster again the same thing.

I think it's best if we do that wealth transfer on a 1-1 basis without MM taking a cut. I pay for the CHAPS fees

yep...but not the shy of 500k...should have sold a decent wack at over 14p...but thought we would have cracked past 15p...keeping some and like many waiting news or a big move either way ...ie need a swing of 2p to 3p to then decide to increase up...just now the traders may be making some..and the mm's keeping the interest up.

The Assaubayevs could simply take full control by giving c.$60m to Sberbank, leaving a very manageable $15 - $20m owing to the bank.
The bank would surely prefer that to restructuring $75m+.
Something along these lines in a pre-pack looks the most likely outcome to me.

I doubt any other bidders would come in given the territory and the need for local/soviet control, so there is not much risk for the Assaubayevs in letting it drop into administration, then immediately taking over via the above suggested pre-pack.
It's what I'd do if I was in their position. It also explains the huge share price collapse of late.
Could be completely wrong of course!

The directors said there was a reasonable chance of refinancing. There is no reason to doubt them.

The problem for Sberbank and the banks in general is that if anyone of their oil companies they have provided finance for goes to the wall under the current circumstances it undermines all their other investments in other natural resource companies. It has a domino effect.

Its in Sberbank's interest not to be the first bank to have a casualty when the whole investment world has its eye on the oil sector.

whoppy, shares get bought all the way down from 100 quid to 1p, they get bought seconds before administration, it means nothing whoppy.

Lol...yes Max is dead..I have no doubt..but there are some bondholders and major shareholders who are working with the company but whether anything comes of it we will have to wait and see. The buying today is not speculation..as that would be madness. Thanks for your concerns. :)
