Dave,didnt realise till we were back home after your last meeting that we never did a group photo for the traders thread,phew what a relief,didnt want to frighten the traders off on here with me on a pic,my dad said i was that ugly as a baby that he put shutters on my pram LOL,but if u get time over lunch tommorrow how abour a nice pic so we can put faces to names.

I have posted your question on a seperate thread, so hopefully someone can explain as I think it is the futures that drive the indices. I have watched them sometimes and they push one way or the other and then the indices follows, but who, why and what I do not know, we need a trader who has worked trading them in the city to give their secrets. isn't that what rv taylor used to do?

i feel i must give credit where credit is due,i had 3 orders filled off cmc today at prices in my favour for a change,average of 2p on each trade, better than what the market price was,is this a one off day for cmc,did seem slow reacting to prices,but for once im not complaining,they have saved me over £100 today,
