Ens have been unloading vast amounts recently - upwards of 20 million in old shares just today Expect big announcements come next week .If it were good news no one would be unloading - let alone in such quantities -Could counter by saying someone buying them up

Has anyone ever kept an eye on major shareholders? I see that PIs amount to less than 7pc. I'd not be at all surprised if that figure has been gradually reducing over the years. Goes back to my gut feeling that maybe a combination of hitting towards 6000 barrels, oil price peaking and PI holdings very low, that the company then shows it true value. We'll see how it pans out.

Ha, I'm now wine induced...but I reckon oil has one more push before it's destined. It's just a fact-based hunch based on how things went last time around.

To predict oil prices in 2020 must be wine induced but whatever you are drinking I'll av one

I wonder if these guys are planning to unleash the beast to coincide with pre-recession peak in oil prices. It's my belief that there'll be another crash by or around 2020 so maybe another a year or so, another load of PI's selling then maybe, just maybe they'll unleash it. We are dealing with very smart people here with a proven record. This is even a non-wine induced thought!

We're on track for 1000 barrels and we are worse than when we started!

I don't blame you dox. I'm just going to sit right now and hope that they've had a grand scheme that will eventually be released someday. I put in 4Kat under 1pso I'd rather take the punt now after all of this time.

I sold up. The small amount of cash received was better off in my grand children's piggy banks than in yet another case of vodka. All the best and good luck!

Apologies if something similar has already been asked.

I've got shares in Matra with Halifax who have it stored on Crest. I found DeGiro trade on Stockholm so I wanted to transfer from Halifax to DeGiro. I got them to talk to each other with DeGiro saying that Halifax can't transfer them because they're on Crest, and Halifax are saying we can transfer them but to a broker who has access to Crest and the Stockholm market.

Has anyone had similar problems? Has anyone been able to successfully transfer their shares and start trading again?

Well matra certainly not setting the world alight, yet. Its very quiet. Doxford no point in me selling my small amount of shares, unfortunately not worth the hassle.

Sorry to see you go Beggarman your posts have been intelligently put, if a little on the pessimistic side.
You will be missed a lot more than the doomsayer.
Personally I am in so deep that I cant bring myself to sell at this price, I would rather loose it all than take the loss, but I will keep clutching at straws and see what happens.
Anyway all the best and goodbye

If Barsky was such a business genius he would have bought Vetra and we could have all cleared off 5 years ago.

By the way I only have a 1,000 shares left so I will be off shortly.

Assume then they have planned for this beggarman, MB got the business out of Russia in time before the Crimea invasion. Also assume he knows more than you about how the business works, how to refinance it.

Mike

They are predicting 1200boepd by the end of the year, they will not be self financing until they hit 3000boepd therefore they will need to refinance next year and probably the year after. If they ever hit 6,000 boepd it will take something like 5 years.

That beggarman is a good question... 4sek is not a realistic share price when the company fundamentals are considered, ignore the proven reserves, ignore the number of wells, ignore the number of leases owned, ignore the debt ratio (still well within tolerances, when revenues are factored in). Consider the annual income, output 680 bopd at well head price of $67 (USD) 680x67x365 = £16,629,400, moving to 1150 bopd by December 2018 and the well head price (conservatively) moves up to $69x1150x365 = $29,962,750.

There is a forward earnings multiplier (I believe) for Texas E&P companies of x9. So, why is the share price not reflecting this?

Then consider the history of MB and the majority of his SMT (senior mgmt team) looks at lot like West Siberian Resources 'take 2' doesn't it?

I would say you're asking the wrong question beggarman, instead, when can MTA move to the main market? (probably when the 6000 bopd target is reached, hopefully before) Once this happens, will the registered shares get multiplied by x1000, after being divided / 1000 when trading opened on NasdaqNorth a year ago? It took WSR four years (2004-2008) to valued at four billion (USD), do we have another three years to wait again this time?

The metrics are there in the investor presentations, the history of the SMT/WSR can be found with Google. This is the same paradigm as last decade, forget whinging and whining about how long your capital has been tied up in this company (*through a most crazy Saudi orchestrated and unnecessary oil price downturn + Putin's annexation of Crimea) and focus energy on speculating when we will get a return on our investment.

The facts are all there, the history is all there, I say within two years MTA moves to the main market, share price reflects this and the company asset base And what will the new share price be? Will we get sold the likes of a major?

Mike

I can't remember who Carnegie sold to but the point is, over 80,000 shares were sold over the last two days and 11% was wiped off the share price.

I think the question is will it hold above 4sek?

*i think at today’s exchange rate 10000 MTA share = £840 quid. Are you sure this amount is a ‘run for the hills, all is lost’ amount..??
