Supertedsmith: they didn't overpay for the Texas assets. Because you have no experience buying or selling Oil & Gas / E&P companies in Texas or Russia, your opinion counts for nothing.

+

The wording of your argument above is a little confused as well Supertedsmith, if im too young to be trading my hard earned cash, in the stock market casino, perhaps you are too old... mmm...?

How do you know I wasn't there my old chum superted.
Incidentally now I know who you are .
You are the poster on LSE who took at best price to be trading price.

I remember you were a tad irked when I took on part of your pseudonym " superted " as a hommage to your "unique" investing know how .

Still smarting after all this time from being mocked .

There is no case for defense of matra.Zilch -
The shares are untradeable in any large quantities - we are talking about 20k and more not 12.

I remember you were advised for your own well being to sit in a comfortable chair in darkened room with warm towel draped over head and to listen to soothing music whilst repeating the words " I must not get angry and remember to finish my veg "

You are sadly clueless about stock market/ and for your own benefit you need to steer well clear .

Don't t let your personal feelings get in the way of your judgement .

I think that concludes our conversation for now and in future .

One thing more I presume you are out there buying up these "cheap as chips " shares .

And yes they did overpay for Texas assets .

Deep breath - relax and smile .
Don't fall for the bait as I won't be responding to you .
What's the point ?

Mike No one here is whingeing. It's just stating the facts .Namely After farce of last few years They have granted themselves around 4.7% of company in warrants .Then there's pay/ back pay / expenses ...Since they took over company they have put us massively into debt overpaying for Texas assets .The shares are now worth around 0.02 p old money and can't be sold in any quantity - so effectively untradeable. There is no volume and no clarity going forward in terms of debt repayment .Tell me anything that's wrong here That's without going into RTO and delist and reasons given .As for soko - any idea who bought it and what its producing now ?Just curious not insinuating anything .If you believe in them I presume you buying up at these prices .Finally no one forced me to buy these shares so I am not complaining about losing money .Just pointing out some facts .My understanding of situation based on certain things is that they want out .I believe - though I can't be 100% certain - that MB and his gang have more than recouped money he put in here - As always this is all IMHO and they have done nothing illegal .Its all by the book . Have i said anything factually wrong ?

I have other holdings with good prospects that I want to protect, this will take at least three years to turn around so I will take the hit on this one.

1 sek = .09p at todays exchange rate, the amount you'll raise will be (extremely) disappointing i'd hazard to guess. Its been years we've been locked into this share, man, you don't need the money that much do you, to sell at such a loss!?

I need to raise some cash, it's as simple as that. I've already been selling down my holding.

Interesting Beggarman, what do you anticipate you'll gain, selling up in the next few weeks? (before Feb 23rd results) It will be at a loss + have absolutely no impact on anything at all, other than you'll gain nothing. Its a very curious attitude!

Just playing fantasy oil production, suppose they had produced 1,000boepd during quarter four and the oil price was $60 per barrel, gas revenues and volumes remained the same.

Total revenue would have been $4.5m, production costs would have been $2.5m and gross margin $2m. G&A costs $1.2m, Finance costs $1.2m and Net loss would be $400k.

I can't see the Q4 results being that good but we wait and see.

As I have said before I only have access to information in the public domain, I have no inside information.

If you look on the Matra website there was a December 2017 update and it clearly shows that the cash position as at 30th September was $751k which was not enough to cover the fourth quarter expenditure. It could be that they have not paid their Accounts payable, its unlikely they will have done it by production as they have not brought any new wells into operation.

We will have to wait until the 23rd February to find out.

I intend to sell up in the next few weeks so I do not intend to to make any more speculations.

522 * 5.86sek = 3058 sek divided by 11.06 sek/£ = £276.49 less commission which is about £52.00 per trade.

TD Waterhouse now iii can sell them for you. You would have to open an account with a new broker and ask them to transfer the shares for you.

Looking for some help please.

Following the changes made at MATRA I now only have 522 shares - these are still sitting with the Halifax who will not trade.

Can anybody tell me,:

a) approx. how much are the 522 shares currently worth?
b) how do I move them from Halifax and who to?

Any help greatly appreciated.
