Do I SELL ?
The elephant in the room is BREXIT with a key date of 31 October 2019.
I'll be long gone by then with a SELL price of 120p.
(hopefully in the next four weeks)

A break above 120p would be positive.

Langton reports Piano & Pitcher up for £40m rather than £30m in the article above.

Brewery boy,
I was referring to trendy restaurants like Jamie Oliver's.

I don't think Marston's charge anywhere near 25 pounds for a pasta dish.

Good contributing CC.
There'll be more restaurant casualties because punters will no longer pay £25 for an ordinary pasta dish.

If it breaks above 120 then I'll likely add - I want to magnify benefit of shares trending up not choking them off

I'm staying in. The updates from the sectors and GNK's results today suggest to me the sector in general is doing well and it's alot easier to make money when your competitors are making money.

I understand no more today why the share price is now 117 than it was when the share price was sub 100. Nothing seems to have fundamentally changed other than interest rates are going to stay lower for lower which of course assists with getting debt down. Increasing profits would also suggest no more NAV writedowns.

Perhaps the city boys have realised running the food menu in a pub is completely different than Jamie's or Bryon and the suggested collpase in custom isn't occurring.

I dunno, but what I do know is to run you winners and stay on the trend.

A positive article from Questor in today's Telegraph -

The only comment I would take issue with is his praise for winding down investment in new pub builds to save capital but lauding their "6 breweries and state-of-the-art bottling and canning facilities". There is an argument that that is 5 breweries too many (pace CAMRA members!) and that recent investments in new brewery and canning/bottling facilities is the problem, not the solution.

In times of uncertainty brewers always do well...
...and the best hops are from England so no worries with BREXIT !
