03/2/2006 15:36 | well it depends... if you can sell later at the right price! | victorfromportugal
03/2/2006 15:33 | Victor, as ive said before, it doesnt matter if London trades at a big discount, it's what price you buy and sell at that counts. Personally i'm glad it does trade at a discount because it shows there is less interest in London and opportunities like first thing this morning become available, i'm certainly not going to grumble if £1700 is offered to me on a plate!! | adparker
03/2/2006 15:22 | WE ARE BEING ROBBED IN LONDON price 10.50 versus 14 in toronto or 28cents OUTRAGEOUS | victorfromportugal
03/2/2006 15:21 | i have had mrl for nearly two years now and this movement in price is most welcome but cant seem to find any reason for movement anybody got any ideas | dickybishdick

03/2/2006 14:38 | is that the reason the price is so low in london?? | victorfromportugal

03/2/2006 11:43 | ISA: yes, normally not allowed but if share is traded on another officially recognised stock exchange as well as AIM it's ok, I have MRL, ACU and UGY [ TSX:UME ] in my ISA see this for details | alexx
03/2/2006 11:29 | many did not take me serioulsy at all, but I saw eurotunnel and volumes at medoro and 50% on net asset and no debt! and gold up!!! was a bargain my medoro's are in my SIPP! but my ISA provider does not authorise me to trde on AIM... normal? TSX allows much more buy and sells are very good prices in london AIM SUCKS! no day trades! | victorfromportugal
03/2/2006 11:07 | having said all that, it looks like I'll come out with an overall profit and if anyone had told me that at Christmas I would not have taken him too seriously | alexx
03/2/2006 10:10 | VICTOR yes, the answer is with shares that are available on AIM and TSX to only use AIM for PEP and ISA, otherwise use TSX. This is the rule I always apply now. Of course I bought these before I was so wised up, though most of mine are in PEP anyway | alexx
03/2/2006 09:11 | well, no garanty that you would be able to sell at 9.50 which I can no longer with my broker then they move the bid offer like they wish and still we quote at a discount from Toronto of 20% it's ridiculous, really, I hate this market prone to manipulation of all sorts! | victorfromportugal
03/2/2006 08:49 | Victor, why is it mad?? you knew what the right price should have been so why didn't you buy any? It was free money to anyone who was alert!! | adparker
03/2/2006 08:48 | has any one tried to get shares through private placement??? | victorfromportugal

03/2/2006 07:59 | 25 cents finish...so no more gains...interested & watching... | daz2004
02/2/2006 23:50 | my belief has always been the dot.com frenzy! in fact if gold reaches level not seen before, any company dealing in gold with a decent balance sheet would sky rocket... it will take two year I think to come to this stage... enough for the medoro board to put the company in orbit i hope they will produce gold and cash flows somehow, as i hate holding inflated stocks, but when the time comes... it may pay out handsomely... | victorfromportugal
02/2/2006 22:43 | ARGY2 Tom W. Ironically he and others thought these shares should have gone to 60p soon after listing. I have stated some time ago that my first 100k purchase was at 24p which was again due to some laziness as I had it confirmed by Tom as to the number of shares in issue(I should have checked myself so only myself to blame, but MRL was a complex stock to figure out,so I relied on Tom`s confirmation)) However some time later I discovered that he had told me the wrong figure and in fact there were twice as many in issue than the figure he confirmed. This meant my buy valuation I put on them would have been relative to 12p-not 24p. I stated quite clearly that at that time 60p would have been totally outrageous with that number of shares in issue and would have valued the stock far too high at that time-in fact I would have tried to short it,not buy it-and no wonder the original sell off was frenzied. I told him he had got his considered valuation completely out of all proportion.at such an early stage and in fact what would have been my buy price of 12p proved fairly correct-until things went truly pearshaped. I made up for my errors by buying fairly heavily when others couldnt offload fast enough. PS> You have to consider this listed March 04,and an awful lot has changed Marketwise and of course the price of Gold. So now I would consider that anything is possible in the current Gold and Precious Metals frenzy. | richgit |
