They have just paid a special dividend!!!

Would make them look a right load of idiots if they cannot then cover the ordinary dividends the next year.

With NEXT reporting better than expected sales then perhaps it's not as bad out there as the doom mongers and Brexit moaners would have us all think ;-)

MKS is a pretty safe bet for long term value and ongoing dividends IMHO.

I'm sure things were bad in those days ( not talking M&S but general) but why is it when I look at old pictures like that i feel warmth and feel that everything in the UK was spot on and everyone had a smile and was content.

Maybe that's just nostalgia for you.

Downgraded this morning by Barclays to 'underweight' .. target price cut from 410p to 290p .

phil...hope I am wrong but I think that 300p will get retested again...recent 345p was short term top technical bounce from the lows of around 286p...
