29/2/2016 14:17 | So he has black rabbit, on the 26th I didn't notice....thanks | hazl
28/2/2016 11:55 | Interesting to note that NT has bought into MKT at 188p. | blackrabbit
22/2/2016 07:10 | So, I stated the obvious on 28th of Jan when I said "SP low, no new news, why would you buy? Because we all know that news is just around the corner, yes the share price is low, derrr these factors are both about to change." 7th of Feb, planning permission granted. 17th of Feb, acquisition. Sp is at the same place now as it was then but hopefully some of you considered investing in MKT after my post and picked some up in the trough. If you did then well done you, 5% rise potentially. I guess the trick is to buy here when nothing seems to be happening because it sure is behind the scenes. | osirisra
28/1/2016 09:24 | SP low, no new news, why would you buy? Because we all know that news is just around the corner, yes the share price is low, derrr these factors are both about to change. | osirisra
15/1/2016 07:57 | This may improve things share-price wise,in my opinion. 'It is expected the Company's Ordinary Shares will be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market and simultaneously cancelled on AIM on or around 27 January 2016 (the "Admission Date"), subject to receipt of the necessary approvals from the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange.' imo | hazl
14/1/2016 23:03 | Come on guys, this is a screaming buy. From the results at the start of December the assets as they stand give a NAV of 164.4p up 11% during the preceding 6 months. Cash in the bank of £175.3m Surely not long until we get news regarding planning permission? From the same results "Detailed planning application for the enhancement of Camden Lock Market submitted during August 2015." Also from the results: "We have delivered a strong financial performance for the six months to 30 September 2015 and continue to make excellent progress in the implementation of our strategy for growth. The value of our property and online assets continues to grow and we have created an effective capital structure for investment as we deliver our vision for Camden. We look to the second half with confidence and optimism as we prepare for a move to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange." The application to go to the main market was made late in December. Mark Alper and Charles Butler are top guys who get things done, google them! This boat is fuelled up and ready to leave, if you're coming aboard you had better do it soon. Osi'. P.S. If you think I might be a blatant ramper then please check out other posts of mine,,,, I don't usually make statements like this. Currently with MKT I feel like I seem to know something that others don't. Just trying to spread the love. | osirisra

09/7/2015 13:32 | its been holding up better than most....can't complain | hazl
08/7/2015 14:44 | There is no way such support for this company would be given without good reason I'm sure! 'lower debt financing cost including a significantly improved margin compared to the existing senior debt facilities and would be for an extended term ' | hazl
06/7/2015 12:13 | WELL done MKT in a tricky market! | hazl
03/7/2015 09:23 | Yes,bakunin your last point, makes you wonder. I wouldn't be surprised if there's something in it. As for the family tree I have got back to the tenth century in the same side of the family but a Scottish branch. They keep very good records in Scotland, which makes it very much easier to search. With the French side I have got back to the 1600s only but we do know that our ancestors escaped when they heard that the people in the next village were being massacred and so they fled. I hope you enjoy your family tree interest as much as I have done if you decide to go ahead! CRND is keeping me on my toes this morning. | hazl
02/7/2015 09:54 | Thanks for the link hazl The 10th century must have taken you back to the south of France? You've given me a fillip to look into my grandad's story in earnest. Lots of elements of my character point to a Huguenot background if there is anything in the theory of genetic transfer of social tendencies. | bakunin
01/7/2015 09:51 | Ok,Banukin will have a look at them....meanwhile we have a bit of interest here,it seems. This billionaire bloke seems to know what he's doing I must say! It's a big project and seems very well organised. Have edited post 61 by the way. Separately CRND has had an uptick today. If the companies interested have said 'no more than 150m$ offers have been talked about,I wonder what difference that might make to the share price when MC is 14 now, should any offer be announced? IMO | hazl
30/6/2015 12:06 | hazl It's combining them together that will produce the power, like in the cars. Also, the solid-state extensions are exciting. And all the new manufacturing process technologies to make it all possible/affordable. IKA is definitely on my watch list for a better entry point. CCE is very enticing. Seems a bit of a throw-back, but it might be successful in the interim. | bakunin
30/6/2015 11:13 | Indeed bakunin....will reply when I have more time.... but our new vaccuum cleaner is certainly lithium powered.Light, but so far lacks the force, that the older model had. 8-( IMO | hazl
30/6/2015 10:16 | hazl Technology has indeed taken some unexpected leaps forward at certain junctures. eg wireless connectivity speeds increasing exponentially around about 2002 onwards when a lot of electrical engineers at work were telling me we were at the limit. At the moment, watching Formula E this weekend, I am fascinated by the leaps in battery technology. I thought it was all a dead end and then Tesla come along with some ideas about combining lots of small batteries (I think that is what they are doing) and there is a resurgence. I had been refusing to buy another cordless power tool because the NiCad technology is pretty poor, the batteries lose their capacity dramatically if a DIYer doesn't use them regularly/forgets to recharge them and replacement batteries are more expensive than a new tool. And then this weekend I just happened to chat with a shop assistant at B&Q who told me all about Lithium-Ion power tools. The interesting thing about batteries, combinations of them etc is that I would assume it is all technology that can be patented and then licensed out. Let me know if you find out about companies on the UK stock market with interesting battery technology. So far I've got IKA and CCE on my list. There are bound to be link-ups with renewable energy companies/technologi The batteries need to be storing clean energy. I'm very enthused by Tesla. The home storage batteries are very exciting. Of course, battery technology will be one of the keys to the M2M market, keeping all the sensors working reliably. | bakunin
29/6/2015 16:16 | Thank you bakunin for your detailed reply. Don't worry, I am well-aware it has been around for years,I guess what I meant was, that it is at last really happening, in a constructive way,as a matter of course, if you will, within General Electric. I have been in some firms for years, hoping they would be the shaker and mover within the industry, but it rarely works like that,it seems. I think that you and I share the kind of cynicism that only comes when you have been in this business for rather a long time! I used to be enthusiastic about these concepts and would find the relevant firms and then hoped that they would take-off. As you suggest, the reality is, that there are very many variables that are needed,as ever the vital nugget of good management without even the sometimes, elusive 'luck' factor. Funny you should mention TMZ, I have been in them for years and it has never really, been a popular share, regardless of whether they deserve it or not. As we know, sometimes these things do not seem rational. Your comments I completely concur with and as I thought about things I would add,you mentioned them for me.....like the big firms having to take up the technology ,even though the little firms had paved the way and sometimes experience no joy for their initial creativity. Still,it is amazing none-the-less what technology can do! I wish you luck with your investments. | hazl |
