21/1/2009 12:02 | Statement re. Suspension (Marinetrack) RNS Number : 0108M Marinetrack Holdings PLC 21 January 2009 21 January 2009 MarineTrack Holdings Plc ("MarineTrack" or the "Company") Statement regarding suspension On 16 January 2009, MarineTrack announced that its trading environment has become even more challenging with sales further impacted by the worldwide economic downturn, and it needed to secure additional financing if it was to continue trading beyond the end of this month. Since then, the Company has held discussions with its key suppliers and financiers with a view to securing the short term position of the Company. While there remains interest in supporting the Company, the board of MarineTrack does not believe that it will be able to raise the necessary additional finance within a short timeframe. Accordingly, given the uncertainty as to its ability to continue trading, the Company has requested a suspension of trading in its shares on AIM pending clarification of its financial position. | cyberpost
03/12/2008 18:55 | Greetings Knowing The buy today at 0.14p of 48m+ follows what looked like a sale yesterday of a slightly smaller no. of MTRK shares at 0.07p Holdings RNS soon? I hold MTRK and ZYZ - dyor | maytrees
03/12/2008 18:50 | 48M bought by the looks of it. | knowing
29/10/2008 15:00 | 43.8m trades today at 0.12p are probably buys but no affect on the published MTRK share price so probably only more furniture reshuffling. All imho so dyor | maytrees
28/10/2008 13:05 | I guess that 9,550,000 trade at 0.10p is another BillamAG or associate's sell. | maytrees
23/10/2008 18:39 | I see that Raymarine, who operate in a similar field to Marinetrack, announced a profit-warning today, and suffered a big share price drop. | asmodeus
22/10/2008 13:06 | More c.10m MTRK share trades at 0.10p seem to be sells. Presumably someone is also buying as otherwise I can't see MMs paying double the bid share price otherwise. If they are buys, the recently reduced published bid sp would presumably retrace? I still wonder if a new institutional buyer is in the offing maybe becasue of the possible Asian contract but all imho so dyor. | maytrees
21/10/2008 12:58 | I don't mind BillamAG et al making gains on their loans/shares provided that there are crumbs at least left for PIs as well. Hopefully PIs' time is coming soon but dyor. | maytrees
21/10/2008 12:52 | Right now I think you'll see another placing for them to get back in IHMO. That will cover the rest of the loans to MTRK - By JH/Billam AG. Admission Document: Additional Financing Arrangements Jemima Hoskins and certain other MarineTrack Shareholders have agreed to provide a continuing loan of £330,440 in aggregate to MarineTrack on the terms set out in paragraph1 2.3 of Part VI of this document. In addition, Billam has agreed to make available up to £200,000 by way of a working capital facility on the terms set out in paragraph 11.4 of Part VI of this document. Quite possibly all this money is needed to deliver a big contract. Hopefully. | officerdigby
21/10/2008 12:39 | Greetings asmodeus Either they believe the ship to be sinking or they need the cash. It is not impossible that the MTRK shares are needed for another institutional buyer perhaps in India though bearing in mind tiltonboy's post above, optimism is understandably wearing thin. All imho so DYOR | maytrees
21/10/2008 12:22 | But the "rats" are deserting - so presumably they think our ship is sinking?? | asmodeus
21/10/2008 08:05 | But (courtesy davew28) is this the one? DYOR. | maytrees
20/10/2008 20:21 | DL has been upbeat about MarineTrack and NiceTech for over two years. Where has it got us!!! | tiltonboy
20/10/2008 19:38 | Another 10m trade at 0.10p and bid share price down to 0.05p now. ZYZ's DL seemed upbeat about MTRK contract at the end of last week but all imho so dyor. | maytrees
17/10/2008 16:33 | Another 10m at 0.10p A contract RNS - patient PIs would hope - soon perhaps? All imho so dyor. | maytrees
17/10/2008 10:02 | Greetings OfficerDigby The point you sought to make in your last post is unclear. Meanwhile another 44m trade today at 0.10p. Something appears to be happening as to the ownership of MTRK shares but what and why are not clear either. | maytrees
16/10/2008 15:42 | Greetings Mike111D 16m trade today at 0.10p - not (yet - lol) cancelled. | maytrees
15/10/2008 19:59 | The trade was cancelled out: 15-Oct-08 16:26:290 .05 72,000,000 Sell* £36.00k Trade Type:Unknown 15-Oct-08 16:23:220 .05 -72,000,000Sell* £-36.00k Trade Type:Correction FYI, Billam AG now hold 30m: | mike111d
15/10/2008 16:48 | Those 72.0m trades at 0.5p look like roll overs or possibly one associate selling to another. BillamAG perhaps needing cash? All imho so dyor | maytrees
15/10/2008 10:17 | Greetings OfficerDigby I was able to buy some MTRK recently at 0.12p but had to pay 0.14p to top up earlier today. My smallish buyseems to have encouraged some more trades; maybe another 1.75m sell by BillamAG but your guess is as good as mine as to the following 5.8m at 0.12p. | maytrees
14/10/2008 10:59 | MT can't see why Billam AG will pay £500,000 for shares they sold at what..? 1/4 or less of the price. They've probably done some other deal... | officerdigby |
