From LSE board 10.49 today:

"a shame for the PIs who chose or had to sell.Because it was pretty obvious what was going on ... "

Sadly, it wasn't so obvious to the rest of us.

A couple of chunky sells but we are still up Barry, looking promising for a higher finish, depends on TSX.

From LSE board 8.43 today:

"As you say, there are MANY possibilities. None that I forsee that result in anything other than significant gains for holders! :-)"

Sadly, it's the unforeseen ones that you have to worry about.

If Lydia are thinking of listing in 2019/2020 before the mining starts perhaps they will reverse into Mariana.........just a thought...

...and speaking of rumours,,,, guys on the North American boards think that Alacer could make a move later this year.

^^^Management also hasn’t discounted the prospect of acquisitions to complement the Copler project as it strives to become a sustainable multi-mine producer with a focus on Turkey.^^^

There is no fundraising this year, whoever started that rumour is talking nonsense.

Repeating it won`t stick especially with nothing to back it up with.

What we had is short position and trading pattern last few weeks would confirm / explain it.

$5 million in cash page 4

$5 million in warrants @2.5p (25p now)

The market doesn't like the thought of fundraising by whatever method and irrespective of NAV. It wants to get in at the lowest price, so if it can will drive it down.

I like the possibilities here and will avidly watch.

There is no placing , and that`s from Glen`s email I got last week !
Warrants should bring close to $5 million plus $4 million in the bank now.
As wooster mentioned they envisage to finish year with $3 million.
Any other costs for development if they decide to go into mining I`d assume will be
debt & equity but that is way after PFS and DFS about 18-24 months from now.
Interesting from that interview that Lidya plans to list on TSX.

HM project initial CAPEX requirement = US$169.2m

So MARL's 30% attributable share is currently US$50.76m. However, by the time the PFS is released there may well have been changes to planned throughput, etc, etc, which could alter the likely project development cost.

But US$50m looks a reasonable starting point for MARL if they are to carry their interest forward into production.

That sum could well be raised by both debt and equity. Only time will tell which way this all works out for MARL.

First production looks possible in 2019 although probably better to think in terms of 2020/2021 for commercial sales.

From my viewpoint, the HM project values MARL considerably higher than current, even allowing for CAPEX raising in c. 2018/19. So current share price weakness appears (to me) to be an opportunity to add. But like everything else, only time will tell!

Hi Wooster,

That won't cover their 30% of development costs though, they will need to add another zero at least to that and probably start with a four and not a three.

don't think so golden - they envisage having US$3 million in bank at year end.

Gold up MARL down!

Are they doing a discounted placing for their 30% of development funds?

Luckily I top-sliced majority of my holding near the recent peak.
