03/2/2017 11:22 | Eric knows where to pick up a property and most importantly where to drill. He sold Extorre to Yamana for $400 million. Extorre had great results also: He basically transformed company since joining , especially after that Condor De Oro disaster ;-) | pr0t0n
03/2/2017 11:08 | When you listen to both interviews it gives you so much confidence going forward especially for us LTH's......... | barrywhit
03/2/2017 08:44 | Same interview on..youtube..edit, different interview | barrywhit
03/2/2017 08:34 | Interview with Eric Roth: | pr0t0n
02/2/2017 13:40 | 900k comes from google....but depends on a time span. Yahoo`s average is 420k. FT`s 490k Must be somewhere on ADVFN....couldn`t find it. | pr0t0n
02/2/2017 13:14 | Sheep herder, I would be very surprised if we had an average of 900k... Just seemed a lot of delayed trades this morning... | barrywhit
02/2/2017 13:08 | barry, what do you mean? I see 400k traded on an average of 900k. | sheep_herder
02/2/2017 12:11 | Quite a turnover of shares this morning, volume picking up! | barrywhit
02/2/2017 11:01 | Good to see Gold on the rise again.... | barrywhit
01/2/2017 17:57 | Wooster, I`d agree, we are only speculating. Can`t see anything happening before the PFS, which is scheduled for Sep/Oct. | pr0t0n
01/2/2017 14:38 | Seem to remember reading acquisitions deals globally 2000-2013 were at an average of $39 per oz.!! gla. | wisteria2
01/2/2017 13:24 | I do realise that BT but I was making the distinction between a take over and a HM sale. | dilbert dogbreadth
01/2/2017 13:18 | Yes thanks cpap man, dilbert they do have other assets but they seem to be on the back burner, I would guess at a straight sale of HM and maybe a special divi for shareholders. | bittorrent
01/2/2017 13:13 | taken over or hot maden asset sale? | dilbert dogbreadth
01/2/2017 12:49 | Regarding a takeover - should be noted that all option grants to every company, as a matter of course, have provisions in the event of a change of control. I do think that marl will be taken over at some point, but do not read that the provision outlined in the rns this morning is some hidden clue of an imminent takeover!! | wooster4
01/2/2017 12:29 | "Perhaps too conservative?" Not a bad idea to be conservative. Start with a minimum figure. I think IC magazine suggested £10 per share based on NPV. I'll believe that when I see it. But I would like to think at least £2 and then some. Measured against £10 anything 'too conservative' should be much better than a slap in the face with wet fish. | herbert howells
01/2/2017 10:09 | Well, there was T/O laste year of Kaminak by Gold Corp. "After-Tax NPV5% of C$455 million and IRR of 37 %; Average Life of Mine Annual Gold Production of 184,000 Ounces and All-In Sustaining Costs of US$550/oz Au" Goldcorp Inc. ("Goldcorp") (TSX: G, NYSE: GG) and Kaminak Gold Corporation ("Kaminak") (TSX-V: KAM) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a definitive arrangement agreement (the "Arrangement Agreement") pursuant to which Goldcorp has agreed to acquire, by way of a plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement"), all of the outstanding shares of Kaminak. The total consideration offered for all of the outstanding shares of Kaminak is approximately C$520 million | pr0t0n
01/2/2017 10:09 | The price isn't moving though. I would have thought the PEA would have catapulted this upwards so what is holding it back? Or perhaps it has already risen quite a lot and the PEA result was priced in. | sheep_herder
01/2/2017 10:06 | That last post was for you Bittorrent. On the basis of that last post MARL could still further MULTI BAG any where up to £10 but that is unlikely to happen as MARL's HOT MADEN will get TAKEN OUT. Agree with you pr0t0n that anything less than £2 will most probably be kicked out. As a conservative poster my bet is £2 to £3 area? Perhaps too conservative? Any how it is clear why any loose MARL stock is getting hoovered up! | cpap man
01/2/2017 09:35 | "The underground mine will produce an average of 288,000oz of gold and 15,800t of copper per year which would result in average revenue per annum of c. US$443m (£351m) at current metal prices, which would be c. US$133m (£108m) in net revenue to Mariana Resources per annum, more than the Company’s current market cap." | cpap man
01/2/2017 09:34 | Hard to know Cpap. NPV is $450 million ( MARL`s share )for the first 62 holes drilled. About 150 million shares , warrants and options included. Any bid bellow £2 would be rejected , IMHO . | pr0t0n
01/2/2017 09:22 | I seem to remember an analyst saying that once in full production, MARL's share would be worth its current market cap per year. | bittorrent
01/2/2017 09:17 | It's not quite as simple as plucking a price out of the air. | herbert howells
01/2/2017 09:12 | Yes of course h h but what is that likely to be? | cpap man
01/2/2017 09:07 | One thing to consider is it could be unrealistic to expect to get full NPV value for selling our 30% of Hot Maden. As far as I know, it never happens. It's about negotiating the best price. In my opinion, an interest all the way to production was always the best option for long term shareholders. | herbert howells |
