Don't understand why anyone would sell comparatively large volumes at this price unless there is an ulterior motive - ie not to raise cash but to lower the share price . for what? a takeover? this has happened to me a few times recently, the share price gets ridiculously low, a buyer 'appears' and pays a premium of 30% or so, invariably leaving me out of pocket.
Hope my conspiracy theory is wrong!

It is a mystery to me that directors are so poor at promoting their company. This one is doing well but who knows?? The share price just slips away. It needs some good PR. IMO

hhmm. someone continues to sell here obviously
directors really need to address this - solid results and going backwards...i assume they would prefer the price to be going in the other direction.
convertible loans weighing - whatever it is......come on Jim.

Thanks puku for feedback. I have just bought a small holding to start building a holding. Maybe they will start working on the low key bit...its up to the bod and they have JM involved.

yes they did and I chatted to the guy. They seem frustrated at their low-key image in the market, trying to do more to gain attention. I talked about their results - Revenue and PBT well up Basic Eps 2.06p diluted 1.29p Screams cheap on a basic p/e of 4.5p. Perhaps held back by lack of dividend. A lovely quiet share ( I bought into PCF at 10p in similar situation and now trebled my money) . So bought 76,000 today for a medium termer.

Castleford

Dubious bod actions

Is it 60% more shares if they convert ?

(Law requires are all shareholders are treated equally.
You will be converting to obtain new shares ?
Course not, but bod can.)

I understand the company will have a stand at Jim Mellon's Master Investor Show on 23 April where we can put our questions. The selling pressure probably comes from a very old stale holder, a fund which built a stake over ten years ago and is now meaningless. At some point IMHO these shares will suddenly take off.

I had just started again at 8.5p,

No idea why this is so low.

1) well, for supporting any co. with dubious bod conduct you only have yourselves to blame imho

YOUR POINT ON DUBIOUS BOD CONDUCT?

2) if any bad debtor or change in regulations (affecting profits) then PIs will probably be last to find out !

PROBABLY ?

I would have a thought a 30% drop in 4 weeks or so would justify an RNS, if only to say the directors know no reason for the fall.

Tiger also if they take up the options no interest would be payable.

no I agree I feel the same.

I cannot work out the end game.

Maybe contact to the ind directors about the concerns re the interest rates being paid plus the overly generous options and warrants.

If the AGM was at a sensible time so I could fly in and out I would be saying something.
I think a letter may have to suffice.

There is of course the issue of ownership in so far as I don't think they can have 30% plus without bidding.
The next 14 months up to July 17 look interesting.

I have been patient and its time shareholders were rewarded .
They can have my money at 7% without any options etc.

Castleford Tiger, I agree something odd is going on. Regular persistent selling by I would guess, one large holder seemingly without regard to what they get for them.

This is one reason I dislike small market cap. AIM stocks - I've had it several times where the share price of an apparently successful company is driven down by constant regular selling of comparitively high volumes, then after a period at rock bottom the company is taken private or bought out. Tangent and Internet Q are recent examples. Getting cynical in my old age maybe.

yes but the company would get the 61 million x 6p therefore adding 3.6 million to NAV which is as of today 25% more than market cap.

Something very odd here in my opinion .
anyone going to the AGM?
