16/4/2003 10:27 | RNS Number:0598K Management Consulting Group PLC 15 April 2003 For immediate release 15 April 2003 Management Consulting Group PLC ('MCG') Trading update issued at Annual General Meeting The following trading update was provided prior to the formal business of this morning's Annual General Meeting of MCG. The annual results for 2002 were announced on 17 March 2003, a little over four weeks ago. We indicated then that new work was being won at a satisfactory rate during 2003 although the first half of the year would be adversely affected by a low order book at 31 December 2002. Activity since 17 March 2003 has continued at a satisfactory level. The prospect stream remains encouraging and at Parson Consulting new opportunities have continued to arise from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (which prohibits SEC registrants from purchasing certain services from their auditors). 17/3/2003 22:13 | The results all seem to match broker estimates (Ft.com)and slightly exceed some of them. Hopefully this will be picked up in tommorows press and this share will have the rally it would of had if more important news wasn't happening today. That last 750,000 at close was interesting. actual sales 107.3 million - broker est 106 mill actual pretax profit 4.9 vs broker est 4.1 mill actual eps 2.71 vs broker est 2.8 div 0.5 vs broker est 0.5 The estimated eps for dec 2003 is 4.52 so with the support services average p/e of 12 to 14 could value this at approx 54 to 64p by xmas. nothing-ventured.com does refer to two broker recommendations from Evolution Beeson Gregort and Durlacher made shortly after the analysts meeting at 10.00am this morning, althought I am unsure what recommendations were. If anybody has 'level2' access to nothing ventured on what these recommendations were I'd be grateful for the info. Good luck to all holders and maybe a delayed rally tomorrow. DYOR etc | collieborder | |
