That looks like somebody knows something. Market size is 10000 shares, continued buying even with increasing price. I will watch this. Another 10000 buy tomorrow and I am buying as well.
Good luck all

old post (Sept 25 2013):
I can see where this stock might fall down (It's a Mobile Content Aggregator in a country where the mobile market has moved onto mobile internet / 3G), but also looks like a cracking opportunity in Thailand where 3G (and also Smartphone) penetration is down at 40% therefore everyone is still getting their new ringtones via SMS text - which is just what Macromac does. If they expand into other countries like Indonesia, etc then they can quickly add a billion potential customers to their pool.

That's why I like it and bought some on day one at 12 pence. Now sit back and enjoy the ride!

Macromac plc

("Macromac" "the Group" or "the Company")

Incorporation of a new subsidiary in Thailand and

Launch of VolkOut

Macromac, principally an operator of a mobile messaging platform in Malaysia and Thailand, is pleased to announce that, following the commencement of business operations in Thailand in December 2012, the Company has recently incorporated Macromac (Thailand) Limited ("MTL"), a Thailand incorporated company, to focus on the existing operations of Macromac in Thailand. The board are targeting opening a permanent office in Bangkok shortly.

This decision has been prompted by the levels of interest in the Macromac Messaging Platform ("MMP"), the Company's proprietary mobile messaging platform, within Thailand, leading the Company to fully establish itself within the country and validating the Board's decision that Thailand is the Group's first geographical expansion target outside Malaysia. The Company plans to recruit up to five staff members for its new permanent office in Thailand within the next 12 months.

MTL has a registered share capital of Thai Baht 1.0 million and is 99.96% owned by Macromac Ltd (a 100% owned subsidiary of Macromac and an intermediate holding company of the Group). The balance of 0.04% of MTL's registered share capital is held equally by Michael Lew (Executive President), Andrew Khoo (Chief Executive Officer), Alvin Ho (Chief Business Officer) and Joseph Oh (Chief Technical Officer).

As detailed in the admission document published by the Group on 16 September 2013, the Group launched its premium messaging services in Thailand in December 2012 and has been delivering localised content to local mobile users in Thailand. All of the content marketed in Thailand is being produced by the Group rather than by third party content providers. To facilitate penetration into the Thai market the Group has been working in partnership with a local SMS gateway, Smile Interactive Co. Ltd, since November 2012, giving the Group access to mobile users on three of Thailand's mobile telecom companies (AIS, DTAC and TrueMove).

The Company has also today launched its community-centric classifieds social networking application, VolkOut, in its home market of Malaysia. The board of Macromac believes this is the first of its kind in Malaysia, using GPS integration where customers can offer or search for services and products in their current location area. VolkOut is compatible with Apple and Android smart phones and is a significant additional proprietary software solution which has been developed in-house and can be sold directly by the Company.

Michael Lew, Executive President of Macromac, commented:

"The expansion into Thailand is very exciting for Macromac as it is a clear indication that we are achieving our strategic targets on time. Since listing our Company on AIM just three months ago, we have delivered on two of our goals; to launch VolkOut - a very exciting addition to our range of software solutions - and to establish a permanent presence in Bangkok, which we hope will allow to quickly gain market share in this, as yet, untapped mobile phone market."

Macromac operates an application-to-person messaging platform allowing the delivery of content to mobile phones via messaging systems, such as SMS, MMS and push notifications. The Malaysia-based business launched in Thailand in 2012, and this will remain the focus of its geographical expansion following the listing. However, Macromac intends to expand into other ASEAN markets in the future, including Indonesia. - See more at: hxxp://www.businesslife.co/BusinessNews.aspx?id=collas-crill-singapore-advises-malaysian-based-macromac-plc-on-aim-listing#sthash.9MPJYBuo.dpuf
