14/5/2021 14:43 | but i always watch for the spike is that the orgasm? i think it will keep on 'coming' way undervalued schroders would have paid 7.5 bill | adejuk
14/5/2021 14:42 | cass. pleasure always involves guilt. | adejuk
14/5/2021 14:15 | Nice move upwards, but the last time something similar happened it retraced the lot. Looking at the chart I can draw in some imaginary lines marking the high and low trading channel limits and ~240p would hit the upper trendline at this point. I hate trying to trade high yielding stocks though, feels wrong somehow ;0) | cassini
14/5/2021 12:41 | I don't think we need to discuss semantics of breakout after this morning's rise. Shall we discuss what figure might constitute a new high? | aleman
14/5/2021 12:14 | 288 would be steal for this yield ! They can do one. If it starts with a 4 I would consider it. Looking for alternatives to earn the yield , while still diversifying from already held investments is not easy... at the top end say SJP yielding only 2.88% that would need an equivalent take out price of 633 to get the same yield . | fenners66
14/5/2021 11:00 | Well undervalued, attracting takeover interest and still yielding about 8% at current share price. Bonkers! | woodhawk
14/5/2021 10:46 | Thanks for the link. 2wild - I didn't make a comment about intraday highs? | skinny
14/5/2021 07:33 | cap gains, great divi what's not to like? | adejuk
14/5/2021 07:23 | article mentions £7.5b to take out the company, implying £2.88 share price .. | unastubbs
14/5/2021 06:33 | from the times today | unastubbs
14/5/2021 00:44 | Skinny - Don't forget the March intraday high was before Ex Div date. If you include the 12.24p, paid a couple of weeks ago. current share price is 242p and therefore I think it qualifies as a breakout | 2wild
13/5/2021 17:23 | Clear as mud, but yes 🙄 On edit - if you look at the link I've posted - the title is the RNS title verbatim (see header). | skinny
13/5/2021 16:53 | Gary1966 I misread it as well, easy to do when both companies are fund managers! Yes, it is MNG taking a shareholding in Jupiter. MNG share price is rising which is good. | gclark
13/5/2021 16:24 | Skinny, Have you got that the wrong way around? Aren't M&G notifying that they have increased their stake in Jupiter Fund Management? | gary1966
13/5/2021 16:16 | Is there a valuation for the sum of the parts? | gclark
13/5/2021 15:57 | Woodhawk - It reached 232p on the 13th of March if ADVFN's chart is right, so I would not class it as broken out yet, although the momentum does look pretty impressive today as does the trend over the last year. I suppose some might argue it looks a breakout on closing prices but that's not the full picture for me. Not that I'm wishing to dent your enthusiasm. That's an impressive uplift for a poor day on the market. | aleman
13/5/2021 15:55 | Looking at the intraday chart - a timely RNS :- . | skinny
13/5/2021 15:50 | Well, there's my breakout - a couple of days late!! | woodhawk
13/5/2021 13:24 | "Why Schroders buying M&G just wouldn’t work"... "The sum of the M&G parts is still greater than the current share price gives it credit for. As more investors understand that, the higher the shares should go." | woodhawk
13/5/2021 12:51 | Thanks pepper log. Something certainly seems up given the terrible day on the markets. I've added quite a lot today on the back of this. | spawny100

13/5/2021 11:04 | CSN looking interesting too | panshanger1
13/5/2021 11:00 | Yes this is holding up remarkably well so far anyway. Impressive against a sea of red elsewhere. | spawny100
13/5/2021 10:56 | Hardly carnage here, only the tiniest dent in the upward movement. | thamestrader |
