06/6/2021 10:14 | May add a bit more impetus: | gary1966
02/6/2021 09:22 | Yes , reassuring that trading continues to be strong, hopefully if can have a good run into the results now and some upgraded numbers. Should be well set as a recovery play. | its the oxman
01/6/2021 09:30 | Excellent trading update. Riviera your investment was very timely. We could have done with a little more detail on the numbers but the much needed statement today underpins where we are and positions us well to build momentum through June until results. The management team seems quite low key and understated, not what you would normally associate with an advertising company - in stark contrast to S4 Capital for example whose updates are laced with high impact adjectives. But if Saatchi's way of doing business is to be understated and over-deliver then I am cool with that. It is all about outcomes not words. | boozey
01/6/2021 08:05 | Oxman, there we have it. Nice open and a steady rise over the coming days and weeks now. | riviera1069

31/5/2021 23:26 | Hope so, not sure I feel I have a huge amount to hang the buy case on, just hope the director buying and talk is a true indicator of the upside potential. Will know soon enough i guess. | its the oxman
27/5/2021 18:05 | Cheers Boozey,Nice board this one. No spamming by idiots so a very good indicator on a sound investment. Results will be good and we will be back into the 180s in short order. | riviera1069
25/5/2021 20:32 | Welcome Riviera - let's hope your investment brings an upwards turn to the share price! | boozey
25/5/2021 10:56 | Even longer now. I'm back in here. | riviera1069
10/5/2021 15:38 | It needs an update here and will tread water until that happens in my view. There must be one soon - been ages since the last one. | boozey
10/5/2021 15:33 | Back under 130p,,, groan. | its the oxman
04/5/2021 12:46 | Thx, anyone got a results date for saa ? Or a view on Vin and her comment dropping masses of upside etc, not said without thought, does she talk up her own book or are here comments typically fairly accurate. Bought a position as seems believable that with costs cut and economy picking up there should be a further recovery. | its the oxman
01/5/2021 12:17 | 25th Feb 2021 #SAA (Alliance News): Liberium initiates M&C SAATCHI WITH 'BUY' - TARGET 210 PENCE Some figures here, not exactly what you're after and a bit brief, but worth a read: hXXps://www.ft.com/c | dougmachin
01/5/2021 11:22 | Stockopedia has 2.65p eps for 2021 and no upward revisions. Just wondered if anyone had better data on which to hang the buy case. | its the oxman
01/5/2021 07:10 | Doug - On the Mello Monday interview when the price was 145p at the time Vin Murria said the brand of Saatchi alone was worth the market cap, and the business comes for free - and she then went on to talk about masses of upside. But I agree it was the huge number of Director Purchases blended with the bullish words in the last trading statement that attracted me here in the first place. And advertising is the fashionable sector right now. | boozey
01/5/2021 03:05 | Copied from x54v above (ta) + I added the director buying prices: Moray MacLennan (CEO) - 3rd Feb - £500k @ 89p (new in CEO post from 1st Jan 2021) Lisa Gordon (NED) - 15th Feb - £64k @ 128p Gareth Davis (Chairman) - 5th Mar - £155k @ 150p (average) Colin Jones (NED) - 5th Apr - £45k @ 144p The last trading update: "- Trading in Q4 2020 was ahead of expectations, a resilient performance reflecting the breadth of the Group's customer base - Year-end cash was significantly ahead of expectations with net cash of £33m at 31 December" So at 128/129p, you're getting in cheaper than the Chariman and the NED and the same price as Lisa Gordon. Moray seems to have been in the company since he was a lad (!), so fair play to him getting in at 89p. Gotta be a bargain at this price, all the way up to 150p. Don't imagine it will be here for long. That's a 15% increase right there for starters. | dougmachin
01/5/2021 00:15 | Anyone got or able to justify price target , upside expectation on saa. Tempted to buy. Thx. | its the oxman
30/4/2021 22:01 | Yes I too used the dip to further top up. A trading statement must be close - been ages since the last update. | boozey
30/4/2021 16:05 | So I can buy the dip. | dougmachin
30/4/2021 15:31 | Why the collapse 128p | its the oxman
13/4/2021 21:27 | And another quote from Vin "Masses of upside" | boozey
13/4/2021 12:55 | Yes - the remark I like most is that the brand of Saatchi is worth the market cap alone and the rest comes for free. Certainly the average person in the street would recognise the name more than any other advertising agency. With the greatest respect to WPP and S4 Capital (which I both hold as well), their brand value recognition outside the industry is nothing like as famous as Saatchi. She also made the point that the issues of the past as now well behind them. | boozey
13/4/2021 12:22 | No probs. Good to see Vin Murria very positive on the prospects here. Clearly both Vin and the other directors (given their heavy recent buying) believe there's a great opportunity at the current level. "Masses of upside on this one" says it all. | x54v
13/4/2021 11:18 | x54v - many thanks for that link! | boozey
13/4/2021 09:27 | Vin Murria on SAA - "Classic digital transformation story...I clearly think there's masses of upside on that one" - from 1:13:24 Also from 1:18:42 | x54v |
