31/8/2016 11:10 | A flurry of buys shortly after Noon usually signifies a comment from ST. | tiltonboy
26/8/2016 12:57 | They will be cashed up again soon when these deals close, I wonder if the perception is we are cheap to the ultimate nav they will go down the buyback path again as ultimately that is the optimal way to improve the irr and hence the performance kicker to management ... | catsick
26/8/2016 10:48 | loobrush, I'm pleased with the progress being made so far, and look forward to the next distribution. Hopefully further sales not too far away. | tiltonboy
26/8/2016 10:05 | Tilts-so thats about 17% gain. Well the next sale I think will be the most interesting one to see what the surplus achieved is-as the London property seemed to me to be the one most subject to any reduction in value and thats turned out ok. | loobrush
26/8/2016 09:43 | AoW, That's the amount I expect to receive in further distributions from now until ultimate wind-up. | tiltonboy
26/8/2016 09:07 | hi Tilton is that your estimate including the milestone payments under forward funding agreements + Rushden P2&P3 ("ultimate / final NAV" as management calls it) or just a balance sheet based NAV? | actofwill
26/8/2016 07:54 | I'm looking in the range of 72-75p. | tiltonboy
26/8/2016 07:53 | @loobrush I do agree. I was initially quite worried about commercial property and Brexit but the BoE rate cut had intensified the chase for yield even further and made the UK look more attractive for foreign investors. There really are few places where decent yield can be found and today's transaction shows via the implied rent from B&Q at over 4% that there is good comparative value still in this sector. 26/8/2016 07:50 | I haven't a clue! However what this sale does indicate is that the Brexit fear of property values going down is not happening and all those who sold property funds may well jump back in as fast as they jumped out. Commercial property in my view is probably the best place to be at this time. The directors have a huge holding so are well incentivised to get the top values. However if one of thaces on the thread can give a clue as to final value that would be great ! | loobrush
26/8/2016 07:34 | Best guess on latest NAV anyone? | winsome147
26/8/2016 06:44 | Looks like a good result on Greenwich showing that there is still value here | 18bt
18/8/2016 13:21 | Mines above that :) | badtime
18/8/2016 12:04 | tilton-whats your view on this sale and the price achieved ? | loobrush
18/8/2016 10:02 | Indeed. This was one of the more problematic sites, so it's good to see a resolution, with only a nominal loss. It would be nice to see one of the other sites moved on, and another return of capital. | tiltonboy
18/8/2016 09:44 | Useful update re Kingsmead | badtime
18/8/2016 06:52 | Sheppey`s Neats Court planning amendment. | yupawiese2010
17/8/2016 13:45 | Haha. I always use 5 April run up as an opportunity to take losses to reduce gains to the limit. But one year I hope that wont be possible. Bad stock pick/luck (?) seems ever present so CGT gives me a reason to spring clean my portfolio. | shaker44
17/8/2016 13:35 | I am still looking forward to the time when I can take a (net) capital gain that is greater than the tax-free allowance... | asmodeus
17/8/2016 12:15 | Yes and for spreadbetting too. | spob
17/8/2016 11:56 | Both capital gains and dividends within an ISA are tax free | gco1133a
17/8/2016 11:51 | no it was the previous cash return, the one in 2015. | orinocor
17/8/2016 11:29 | Erased my previous comment here - checked and dividends under ISA are indeed tax free. Dividends outside of ISA had tax credits for 2015/6 and a set tax-free allowance for 16/17. Bigger fish here are the only ones who pay more tax this year under the new rules. | simonsaid1 |
