30/1/2018 10:51 | Down 35% since last Wednesday. | eastbourne1982
30/1/2018 10:50 | I keep revising down my entry price , particularly given the MMs seem to be knocking off 10p a day lol | john09
30/1/2018 10:49 | The carnage continues. Surely the company must put out a statement, either an update on trading or that it knows no reason for share price movement etc. | eastbourne1982
30/1/2018 10:49 | are you in yet john? i just put my UPGS dividend in here! :D | citytrader66
30/1/2018 10:47 | out of auction 10:45:25 65.0000 2,020 UT 62.0000 65.0000 Buy just my luck after i bought at 67p. | citytrader66

30/1/2018 09:05 | Interested to see the next broker note here, given Numis have had these 'under review' since the PW and the incredible price action since.. | cxs1

30/1/2018 07:38 | Eastbourne1982 - Cannot disagree with you - though I think you may be a bit high on debt (unless increased since last accounts which is very possible) - While there are bottom fishers nibbling if they have stop losses in place there could be a cascade melt down if no institutions prepared to buy for a long term possible recovery and I mean possible as market for lighting is VERY VERY competitive - As has been mendioned above - Dialight and PhotonStar just two of the walking dead - Could LUCE join them ? | pugugly
29/1/2018 23:04 | if this follows UPGS then the share price will stay at rock bottom giving plenty of time to get in. fear of missing out will probably get the better of me so when i can get some funds (i'm due a dividend from UPGS tomorrow) then i'd like to make a 1st purchase here. there may be a final lurch down. the rate of fall here is scary. | citytrader66
29/1/2018 22:22 | seans66 I despair when I read your post. They were delayed sells reported after the close you nugget. | highasakite
29/1/2018 21:49 | Quite a few large buys when through after the market closed. I increased my holding today as well. Difficult to call, but a small bounce upwards would not be too much of a surprise. | seans66
29/1/2018 21:46 | Guess the drops here are fx related, 52% of revenue is in USD.Looking at the interims and the change in rates this year so far then it looks like the previous "natural" hedge on USD and CNY has eradicated - for H1 80% of the negative impact on revenue due to GBP v USD rates was recovered due to a favourable GBP v CNY rate reducing their costs (China). However, using yesterday's fx rates, and using H1 revenue and cost of sales, then only 25% of the negative impact on revenue would be recovered - so can understand their USD and CNY hedge, I think!, but would have to be some hedge IMO for it to minimise margin impact............co | discodave4
29/1/2018 21:05 | Wonder if the books have been over cooked?... | diku
29/1/2018 20:16 | I prefer UPGS btw, that’s why I have 50,000 of those and zero LUCE at present | john09
29/1/2018 20:15 | Interestingly this company was already to a management buy out by the current CEO and then refloated | john09
29/1/2018 20:09 | A lot of institutions will be haing questiosn asked of their investment committees - If any decide to cut and run then as cxs1 says more sells to come "Immediately following Admission, to the extent known by the Company, it is expected that the following persons will be interested (directly or indirectly) in 3 per cent. or more of the Company's issued ordinary share capital: Name of Shareholder No. of Share % of issued EPIC Investments 39,081,000 24.3 John Hornby2 33,396,000 20.8 Giles Brand 8,844,000 5.5 BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited 6,650,000 4.1 Schroder Investment Management 5,000,000 3.1 Old Mutual Global Investors (UK) Limited 4,900,000 3.0 Threadneedle Asset Management Limited 4,850,000 3.0 | pugugly
29/1/2018 20:02 | Agree CEO won't buy more, but with all that new money printed by the still relatively recent listing we could see another sell though!! :0 | cxs1
29/1/2018 19:53 | Nah most people won’t bother to reply to u lol | john09
29/1/2018 19:33 | Surely this listed at 130p not 150p "Prospectus Offer of 51,629,400 Sale Shares and 20,000,000 New Shares of £0.0005 each at an Offer Price of 130 pence per Share Admission of all issued shares to the premium listing segment of the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities So fall from listing price while severe not as bad as some would suggest - Just ramped up previously against a very competitive market for lighting products - After a quick review cannot see any USP's against competitors - So I would suspect a p/e of closer to 10 would be more appropriate {Though I am sure some will try to prove me wrong !!} as one does not know what aother maggots may be uncovered. The uncertainty of whether all has been discovered appears to be the killer. (all imo dyor no investment advice given or intended to be given) | pugugly
29/1/2018 19:06 | "I doubt i am going to lose money in the long run because i was thinking 13m is still a decent adjusted profit." But surely the subsequent move of $/CNY means that's no longer going to be hit? ie the market has read the last t/s, seen the subsequent currency moves, and realised that even without further skeletons, another p/w based purely on currency looks likely. Or maybe they hedged in time.. | spectoacc
29/1/2018 18:41 | He won’t buy he owns far too much of the company already | john09 |
