I guess the Capital Market Day went well

Low & Bonar plc (LON:LWB) was upgraded by analysts at N+1 Singer to a “buy” rating in a research report issued to clients and investors on Thursday. The firm currently has a GBX 81 ($1.27) price objective on the stock.

Are we expecting much at the capital markets day??Based on current trading, the Group is confident of meeting expectations for the full year. The Group will be holding a Capital Markets Day on 20 May 2015 for potential and existing investors.

The Bonar team is constantly tweeting things if that helps.

It appears not much will happen until after the capital markets day in May. The new CEO will choose his preferred strategy.

Trouble is I'm not really fussed about divis, I'm after growth. Which I thought we had until last summer. I've held on for the last 7 months expecting a slow turn back up, especially from Nov lows but it seems to be taking a lot longer than I expected. I think I'll hang on until end of April and see where we are then. Don't get me wrong, I still think the company has great products, I just don't think they're proactive enough in their marketing.

Lateralam - Is it worth holding? The answer depends on so many factors and anyway under our nanny state rules anything even hinting of 'advice' will bring the full force of law down on me (or anyone who dares to say almost anything)

One thing I have learned over many years (decades even!!) is negative news gets the MM's dropping the share price like the proverbial stone into water whereas positive news takes ages to show (and sometimes gets ignored anyway)

There you go, it's your choice, personally I'm not expecting anything overnight but then I am (mostly) a dividend hunter ha ha.

Morning all. Have to say I'm getting impatient. Unless we have a massive contract win soon, I can't see this turning round before the winter.Apart from the divi is it worth holding? Open to discussion!

The share price has looked firm since the agm, today up 0.5p while FTSE100 is down 85 points. Institutional investors must have been somewhat encouraged by what they heard.

The next trading news will likely be the interims in July.
