Well, there's your news.

I read this as bad news but pre-market looks sanguine.

Not one for me.

The other dealers weren't falling on Friday and not much movement from them today. Given the price action before previous announcements, there's clearly a market mole in the Lookers management team. Expect (bad) news!

I can't believe this is Brexit - the falls are too big. No doubt that the manoeuverings of the government to get the no deal they have always wanted is playing a part, the Fri and today is too big. Someone knows something. What the recent bottom we have had to endure - 41.6p? We are on the way there and worse.... Really this is not looking good at all.

Another big fall. Big news coming or is this just brexit problems (tariffs on cars, higher prices, lower sales, lower UK incomes)?

Big fall on heavy volume today. This has been a leaky ship in the past, wouldn't be surprised to see some news in the near future.

I see that the non-exec directors are taking alternative jobs. Rats leaving the ship maybe?

The price action?, Well Tony's buying helped sentiment.
Trying to rationalise short term share price movements is often impossible.
I can't offer any particular insight on Lookers to be fair, luck with your holdings.

Care to speculate on the price action essentialinvestor? Shorts closing in a relatively illiquid share have clearly played their part. TB buying clearly helpful too but now 40%+ above levels prior to the recent profit warnings which seems ridiculous when you factor in the general regulatory risk and FCA investigation specific to Lookers.

Aware of that, just surprised by the % increase from last year's low given
the lack of any news. Held Lookers in the past so know the company.

Even after 30 years doing this the stock market still surprises me.

I did post that they may try to screw those short, but did not see these levels,
outside of some major corporate developments.

Peter Jones was Chairman of Vertu until recently, not the same person as on DD.
Prior to that he was Chairman of Lookers, from memory.
