10/8/2016 17:48 | Would love to see a takeover / merger with Vertu. Lots of synergies to he had and would create a uk giant.D | daddy2010
10/8/2016 14:22 | The Benfield group visit us £87.5m but we sold sites for £12m meaning it cost us £75m. Have yet to read how many sites we added.I think the monies from the parts sales should mean no further borrowings. Good progress and nice to see this move again. I've moved my sell target upwards now given today's RNS. | hopeful holder
10/8/2016 13:49 | Yes aware of that but doubt they will amount to £120. About 40M paid off debt would be my preference. | essentialinvestor

27/7/2016 20:04 | A good buy under £1. I added more today at a pound and a penny. That gives me an average of £1.05 which I am happy with at this stage. I also added motor point as I felt they also provide an opportunity.I thought about adding more across the sector but do not want too much exposure to this sector.Good luck with your holding and I hope we all have our share price goals reached. | hopeful holder
27/7/2016 19:32 | I agree HH. I already have a substantial position in Vertu and have taken my first foray into lookers today below £1. The underlying dynamics and resilience of industry are underestimated by many and expect these to recover to 130p+ short term when predictions made by the brexit doomsters prove false. These are already discounting a 20% decline in new car sales on a recession which may or may not happen but many forgot about the annuity cash flows of the aftersales and the shorting lifestyles in the used car segments following the greater prevalence of pcp contracts which will help cushion against the likely falls in the fleet and new car markets. Like Vertu, I like the used car and aftersales mix here, the strong and flexible balance sheet, experienced management team, efficient deployment of capital and all for a lowly valuation. Not to mention the takeover/ consolidation potential with the US retailers starting to move into the sector.....D | daddy2010
20/7/2016 16:02 | Bought some of these as look oversold and a quick move to 140's is quite possible, probable. Appear to be decent team moving this forwards. | hopeful holder
01/7/2016 15:46 | I suggest holders take a look at Vertu Motors VTU. Oversold and still to bounce like Lookers. | seball

17/5/2016 13:15 | Read Zeus Capital's note on LOOKERS PLC (LOOK), out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research "Lookers has delivered a solid Q1 performance across all areas of its business vs. strong prior year comparatives. We also note the disposal of VW Battersea for £18.1m, which further strengthens its balance sheet with cash generation remaining strong. We are maintaining our headline forecasts at this juncture, but believes the Group remains well positioned and we would not rule out any further acquisitions this year. The shares look well oversold to us as the valuation is at the bottom end of the UK dealer average despite hav..." | thomasthetank1
15/5/2016 11:42 | They have taken on quite a bit of debt near what may be the cyclical peak. | essentialinvestor |
