03/6/2011 17:55 | LZM have had six 'holdings in Company' RNS's in three days. All good !. | tenapen
31/5/2011 19:14 | Taken from Lonrho's interim results; LonZim Plc (24.61% holding + management contract) LonZim has invested in and restructured its business in Zimbabwe and each is well placed to return to market and show rapid growth as the Zimbabwean economy recovers. The commercial market has gained some stability during the period and the individual LonZim businesses are seeing increasing sales on a monthly basis. | tenapen
24/5/2011 17:47 | OK for me also. Its good that LZM are active and getting rid of poor performing investments. Africa and Zimbabwe is a long story and a toe or two invested here may prove to be a good slow burner. | tenapen
24/5/2011 13:46 | Not for me, same old same old, just sold remaining holding. Still here's wishing you all good luck! I will be back to look at these at some future date and will continue to monitor. | thanksamillion
24/5/2011 08:50 | All pretty encouraging really. DL | davidlloyd

11/5/2011 19:25 | A good rise in the share price today :-) . I just wish i had deeper pockets and the conviction of my thinking to have had a wee top up on Monday. With no RNS from LZM i had a look for a reason for todays rise and the only thing i can see is that the Celsys Telecoms division in no longer there !. As we see from the below Copy & Past it say 'four' divisions and yet only 'three' are named. Either that or the Interim Results are out tomorrow and word as leaked that they are good as i expect / hope :-) -------------------- Celsys Limited is listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and comprises of four operating divisions. * Celsys Print * Celsys IT * Celsys Marketing | tenapen
08/5/2011 20:19 | Thanks for your input QS9, I think Mugabe and a lot of the other African leaders will focus on the Minerals and getting the best return they can, rather than being plundered by the West & China. Other companys such as LZM', LONR, MASA and their investments will be way down the list as they are bringing investments and jobs to the countries rather stripping the natural resources. Its always good to have a second view so thanks again for your input QS9. | tenapen
08/5/2011 20:03 | Sorry no tenapen....Sunday Times was the paper I read so in there somewhere in the foreign section I am afraid! INteresting/sad read if true. What happens in Zim is up to SA effectively as its nearest and most powerful neighbour and Mbeki hardly set a great example over the years did he? I think Zim is a cracking country having spent a month there in 92, but without external help, Mugabe and his henchmen I fear will rule the roost for a while yet. | qs9
08/5/2011 16:55 | Anyone read the article today about all the hundred year olds that have been "registered" by Mugabe in run up to election? Looks like the political risk could be a lot higher if he tries to rig electionss in a big way so watch out. Zim IMO is a cracking country but ruined by Mugabe and his henchmen and SADC is turning a blind eye, something that will not go un-noticed by investors around the world! Cheers | qs9
08/5/2011 15:54 | It was on the 11th of May 2010 when we got last years Interim results so i am hoping we get the results next week. When it comes i am expecting or hoping that they will be very good and my reasons for this optimism ?. Firstly take out the political rick and confusion of the proposed indigenisation bill my reading of the African web sites shows that Zimbabwe as recovered strongly since tieing its currency to the US $. On Friday there was two late RNS's and both from the Amercan investmant company, CONSILIUM EMERGING MARKET ABSOLUTE RETURN MASTER FUND LTD saying that They passed a 3% than 4% holdings level which shows great confidence. Also LONRHO gave a 2nd Quarter update last week and they failed to mention LZM's Leopard Rock hotel. This was strange considering LONRO's 1st Quarter comments (posted above) about the impressive growth the hotel had seen. Im thinking LONRO did not want to comment because LZM will issue there statement soon and did not want to steal their thunder !. Regards | tenapen
30/4/2011 07:30 | 'LonZim could offer high returns' Thursday, 28 April 2011 Dumisani Ndlela, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Brokerage firm and nominated advisor for investment group LonZim plc, WH Ireland Securities, has described the Zimbabwe-focused investment vehicle as "an unusually high risk stock" but points out that it could deliver potentially high returns on investment. Cont... | tenapen
19/4/2011 07:35 | Todays RNS from Masawara states that they are going for a secondary fund raising with the aim of raising £14.5m at 60p to make further investments in Zimbabwe. Its difficilt to know what the mood on the ground is in Zimbabwe as we only get to read the Wests point of view ! but i have a toe holds worth of LZM just for luck. | tenapen
18/4/2011 19:30 | 17 April 2011 Zimbabwe profits from mining rights By James Melik Reporter, Business Daily, BBC World Service Zimbabwe appears to have created a "win-win" situation for itself with legislation giving locals 51% control of the country's mining industry. Cont... | tenapen
22/3/2011 12:28 | Positive outlook for some at least - come on LZM..... DL | davidlloyd
21/3/2011 19:11 | watching one day this one may shock us all in TIME.. | gardenarc
21/3/2011 17:27 | fallen to 19p Mid price :-/ I am sorely tempted but the old saying about catching a falling knife, will hold me back from pressing the Buy button. Not so good for the investors who bought into the fund raising at 28p in December 2010. Lonrho being one of them. Regards | tenapen
05/3/2011 10:05 | Cheers Daz, I'm of the same thinking, Good Luck. | tenapen
05/3/2011 09:11 | Sitting on the sidelines Tenapen but watching with interest, may take a nibble down at these levels as it could be at a support level. | daz
02/2/2011 13:06 | These must be close to issing their year end results !. I do not hold these but any good news from Zimbabwe / LZM will be a possitive for LONR. | tenapen
22/12/2010 14:46 | LOL. you still have your blinkers on then KVRR | tenapen |
