Hard to see how electric only cars will happen.
Batteries need recharging too often and need replacing after about 4 years.
They lose power from day 1.

All important vehicles such as ambulances and key road transport will be diesel or petrol.
A contrarian view is that even more platinum will be required.
Cost and performance will be subordinate to emissions.
Hybrid is probably the answer. The battery is charged by the ever reliable engine.
Electric about town, diesel or petrol for longer distances.

It is not unusual too see reliable powerful diesel and petrol cars ten years or older.

A cynic would say that politicians are dreaming up ways of raising taxes through diesel or petrol levies.

Never mind the price, I simply don't believe that there would be the capacity to allow drivers of elec. cars to recharge batteries quickly and efficiently. And petrol is more toxic than diesel.

bouleversee i sincerely wish you all the very best.I hope you don't lose your money, but you are gambling that there is a future for pgms.I know electric cars don't come cheap at the moment, but every government seems hell bent on driving cars, especially diesel ones, off the road.If that happens then a lot of platinum jewellery needs to be sold!

I'm holding till the bitter end. Having lost all of my original investment, I'm damned if I'm going to sell out to shorters or because of shorters, at less than I paid for the rights. I'd rather lose the lot.

Kulvinder like you I'm holding until Q4 and year-end results in November. There's only five weeks of their financial year remaining, and if production and pgm sales meet full year guidance then hopefully breakeven or a small profit may result.Production and sales numbers, with hopefully a higher platinum price is the key.

They will all return in Oct as it gets closer to the results and Plat is over $1000. MM's playing games at the moment, trying to frustrate you out of your holding.

Sideways? Up and down like a yo-yo more like, for no discernible reason.

Sylvania platinum came out with some good results,so it can be done with pgms.

Tread carefully here.Even though the company is keeping the bears and shorters wrong-footed to a certain extent with production advertised dates being brought forward, like Q3,and unannounced updates like the last one concerning tweaking of the business plan, this share is a gamble now.If you don't want grey hair,or just want to keep your hair, then buy a Unilever or something apparently safer. This is not a recommendation btw.
