Plus it has to be remembered that the reason the price was beaten up by the shorters in the first place was that LMI would need another RI, but based on the last RNS that eventuality being reality is quickly diminishing by the day as the company have confirmed they are trying really hard to preserve cash, the price of platinum going higher from today's price can only help to attain better profit, or reduced loss figures.

Careful, assuming I do not get stopped out, I am quitely confident that I will achieve my final exit price of 240p, the next results and how the price of platinum behaves in the next couple of months will have a big bearing on if my thoughts will be come reality. All IMHO....

Lonmin was once worth billions. If the platinum price goes back up the share price will rocket. Forget about £1.00, it will be worth substantially more. The brokers are fixated on the price of platinum today and not on the potential price in the coming years. I think as usual they have got it wrong. I would not be surprised if Lonmin receives take over offers before it really takes off.
