18/7/2017 15:44 | If memory serves me correctly, the share price was around £35. | avidacre
18/7/2017 12:30 | Frustrating aspect of platinum is why at these relatively low prices that it can't attract serious interest from the jewellery sector.I appreciate it is a harder metal to work with, but surely the added cost associated with overcoming the physical difficulties of working with it is offset by its lower price in relation to gold (now $300oz).It is also 15x rarer than gold so it should attract a premium on that basis alone. Is it because historically and culturally, gold is revered more highly in India and China? Maybe the Platinum World Council need a big push into these ever-growing,more affluent consumer markets. An opportunity is being missed here imho. | redbaron10
18/7/2017 12:08 | Generating 40m usd per year in cash flow even with the lousy platinum price | dealy
18/7/2017 11:58 | 233m cap is still very cheap. less than the money they raised for the rights issue. | careful
18/7/2017 11:29 | Tbh imho you are betting on the price of platinum going forward here.If you believe like me that the pt price has been beaten down enough and the only way is up,especially with a weakening USD (relatively) and palladium prices hot on the heels of the Pt price then it's worth holding out for the last Q4 2017. The pd price is giving a support level to the pt price regarding its industrial use as a catalytic converter.Alternativ | redbaron10
18/7/2017 11:05 | EDF, yeah still in - hoping it gets back to £1.20 as a minimum eventually. | kulvinder
18/7/2017 10:43 | Back to 65p in no time | elliotset
18/7/2017 10:29 | The shorts all bet that the company would need to raise equity and thus they intended to close out these shorts with the new shares issued to the market. This in the intimidate term is clearly not going to happen and hence the sensible shorts are now trying to close in an orderly fashion. This could very easily have a huge spike.. aimho position disclosure long lmi shares | evil_doctor_facilier
18/7/2017 10:28 | things looking good here. | careful
18/7/2017 10:22 | Kulv, hope you held on m8. My 67p buy last week looking perky now. ;) | evil_doctor_facilier

17/7/2017 20:29 | Looks like sjorts closing on the back of this morning's news. Plat also up. What is the USD doing? | tawse57
17/7/2017 16:07 | Running well 13 per cent up can we see a spike to 1.20 now | foxy22
17/7/2017 09:57 | On that rather better than expected update this share should be making hay, still a large seller on the book dumping though. let's see if short closing can push this . | evil_doctor_facilier
17/7/2017 09:42 | worth watching | ukgeorge
17/7/2017 08:17 | Red Baron, the shorters are not burning, they are protecting profits. This usually causes an even sharper movement | harry_david

17/7/2017 08:00 | a much better statement today. things are improving, the last statement caused a share price collapse. maybe this fall will now reverse. could do with an improvement in pmg prices, then we could be off to the races. | careful
17/7/2017 07:47 | Yes it is a major negative though | investment dave
17/7/2017 07:22 | Cost control really improving despite fatalities. Pgm prices currently below quarter only major negative I can see. | harry_david
