Two companies rising quickly up my wishlist are TSCO and ULVR. You really need to own companies like this when the world has gone mad..

I can see more than one bump in the road though, hope i'm wrong but this short term pain could run into more medium term pain with another profit warning over the summer months..

I would like to get the Autumn with no more warnings and a new super confident CFO in place then i might be more relaxed.

The other problem is that they are vulnerable to a bid but htis would be opportunistic and hence low-ball..

The same guy on the TET forum has been on other forums doing the same thing. These key board warriors are complete cowards.

2 o'clock today Paul Hill and Mr G will be on it will be interesting what paul Hill got to say about TET.

I think TET is another Anp situation of 2 years ago. Alot of things like ingredients costs out of their hands, have gone up.. it sounds like abit of short term pain then a bounce up. Ill be buying more in May..

Still holding my TET, what is now a much smaller position at 200p..

What a disaster. I've got to say though it is firmly on the naughty step. I never usually make snap decisions that usually always turn out to be irrational. If i am going to sell i will decide after a few days or weeks most likely..

I tend to look at broker comments because they would of spoke to the company this morning..

Little take from TET broker peel hunt..

Peel Hunt slashed target price to £4.85 , 16 -18 million profits pencil in now, and importantly no debt..

Treatt expects these short-tern trading challenges to moderate and CEO David Shannon remains ‘encouraged217; by the company’s robust order book and sales pipeline.

This citrus thing should correct itself..

Really sorry about your unlucky timing of TET..

You unfortunately got SPI timing wrong too, you couldn't be more unlucky but at least you are honest and this is the reality of investing that sometimes we do get it badly wrong unlike these traders that never have a loser..

If it's any consolation i bet you haven't lost as much money on TET than i have. It was once a star position and near the top of my portfolio, now it is somewhere near the bottom.

If i am being honest i have lost all faith in the company that i once had and i am seriously considering selling..

Even Aberdeen selling and they were big fans of the company..

Someone probably pointed out to him that the bond market was looking ugly. The US has a lot of borrowing to be rolled over this year. If you want to be cynical you might imagine they thought if the stock market crashed it would push UST yields down and help them roll their debt over, but instead UST yields surged upwards towards 5%. They were staring at a bond market crisis and so stepped back.

From a medium/long term perspective this is still a huge problem. How can anyone make any long term plans when they don't know what Trump will try next? The only way to make money is short term scalping or (more likely) inside information. But that's not going to produce long term economic growth.

On the plus side looks markets will bounce strongly today after a 90 day puase.

That was instigated by Trumps billionaire back Bill Ackman who was losing badly. He's got big investments in Nike for instance and was caught on the worng side of the market..

These markets are just crazy..

Victrex not a company i've ever looked at either. I see it's got an 8% dividend yield but the shares have not performed well over the years..

The markets really shut-down this morning. It's virtually impossible to sell even £2k or £3k of anything and if you do its below the bid prices.

This is what these traders never tell you, if you're holding large positions you just cannot sell them or even part of them on days like today..

Ended up dumping my small holding in MANO this morning. The CFO leaving was the last straw for me, it's been a disaster of an investment but lucky didnt lose much because of how small my holding was.

I've started a brand new position in QQ. Hopefully add to it when funds allow.
