LCPW - LCP warrants

The Company's issued share capital comprises 50,000,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each (the 'Shares'). In addition, 10,000,000 Warrants have been
issued to placees (on the basis of one Warrant for every five Shares
subscribed). Each Warrant will give the right to subscribe for one Share in the
Company at 120 pence until 31 March 2011.

Actually I think a lot of the best of the deal flow will go towards LCP, because it sounds like LDC are much more interested in fund management rather than direct investments these days. I was surprised to see no buying whatsoever in LCP after then Shanghai deal was announced - in fact, it's started to fall. I suppose LCP might have to wait until actual deals are announced. I'm keeping my stake in LDC but I'm holding LCPW as well now just in case that's where the explosive growth comes from in future.

Announcement from LDC yesterday must be good news for the Fund - some of the deal flow from the Shanghai Exchange should come the Funds way.

the prospectus can be downloaded here

An interesting extract.

"Deal Flow
The Executive Directors have, for some time, been investigating a number of potential investment opportunities that they believe meet the Company's investment objective. The existing pre-vetted deal flow exceeds £150 million of potential investment opportunities."

yep, you're at the start of a long road that will take months. I imagine much is going on behind the scenes here though. One to hold and wait. Nice to have vast majority of the cap backed by cash though, and from LDC pre-fund my guess is that they have tonnes of new projects to invest in

They've got to get invested and then start profitable exits, so I wasn't expecting anything short term - any other views?
