I can ask the company for an explanation, but was anybody aware of & have more details of this which appears in the 2022 audited accounts?

Note 6 Exceptional Expense
Exceptional expense related to the write-off of the amount receivable from the Employee Benefit Trust due to the cancellation of the obligation for repayment during the year.

Buchler has helped himself to 6% of the shares and Bobroff 3%

Latest seems to be that with the cash all now taken the Directors have helped themselves to the shares that were bought from shareholders for 2p

HI, bisiboy you are so right Their seems to be a lack of members on this board are you
aware of any other BBs? All we can hope is if more LDC share holders
come on board we may get some reaction from the management.
kind regards William.

BISIBOY, are we on the same page, is it LDC you are talking about ? far as iam conserned the management are sat on
their ars...s bleating on about covid is now holding things up, where most other companies are zooming
and getting on with the job. It is years now we have been waiting for a settlement, whilst the management keep drawing their salaries.
Nice number ,and a total lack of monthly progress reports .

"The unfolding debt crisis of one of China’s biggest biomass electricity producers has left it on the cusp of delisting, piling liquidity pressure on a company reeling from a nearly 700 million yuan ($105.7 million) bond default."

Maybe maybe not. Depends whether Buchler can exit in a blaze of glory. Time will tell. Not sure that I trust him, but I could be wrong.

I exited at the 5p (I think that was the price) a few years back and that seems to have been the best exit.

"Seems" is not the right word topvest

Office costs say it all, regarding the directors

Yes. All klaidi need to do is drag things along for another 12 months to leave LAC's position pretty much defunct. They've probably been doing this anyway knowing LAC has no revenue and can't work from an indefinite tineline. Game over.

Buchler and Bobroff must be pleased with themselves. .Pick up another £250k a couple more nice trips to China and retire gracefully at 67

I see even the office costs of £130k go to a company Buchler and Bobroff are directors of.

Yes, the operating costs are very high. No doubt, there is difficulty associated with getting value from the Chinese investment but the staff costs are excessive. I exited at the 5p (I think that was the price) a few years back and that seems to have been the best exit. I wonder whether Volvere shareholders are aware of this. That's why I avoided that one, despite much better returns.

The latest accounts for this fraud show another £1.6 million in cash has been burnt through, leaving just under £1.5 miillion left. The directors will no doubt suck this cash out this year, so this should be the last year. The company lists 8 employees for the year - must be great fun getting paid for doing nothing.

Will 2019 be the end of this? Only £3 million more cash to suck out. The fact that the Chinese director resigned in April and has not been replaced says it all. Why would the majority shareholder not replace her - because strategically it is not important. They have what they want and the directors can go through the motions and take what is left.

The latest accounts show cash flowing in one direction. A couple more years and all the cash will be gone.
