But today, we’re saluting journalist Miguel Rico who’s written a fair piece of analysis for Mundo Deportivo, translated by the excellent Sport Witness.

He states that Barcelona’s indication that they’ll attempt to sign Coutinho in January has gone down with Liverpool’s owners FSG like a lead balloon.

According to his article, FSG are ‘annoyed’; at the ‘reckless̵7; nature of Barca’s approach and media handling, while Sport Witness suggest the ‘damage is surely already done,’ in terms of our relationship with the Spanish giants.

PS I have no promlem with fans like moonie who've supported city though the tough times it's the lads like my mate who I served with for over 15 years and never once heard him talk football or watch a game,now it's city this and city that......🤔

The score didn't reflect the true story of the game IMHO for first 90 seconds the dog and duck players went toe to toe with Liverpools first team with great credit .....:-)
