Do you know what one of the biggest mistakes punters make ?

They fail to taker a profit.

Its not just that though , what he says will probably turn out to be the case.
I thought the company presentation was very poor ,but the guy doing it was not a PR guy.
He was probably being quite honest.
ST and ED have 20p min engraved on this.
He usually gets his target price as well you know.
Not always but ......usually.

Lol it'll be volatile for a bit but as people read Simon Thompson over lunch and after work we'll see a retrace back to 12p+. Next time there is any positive newsflow this will be a powderkeg.

king kong - if that's your attitude, you won't have much luck on AIM. Many of the best AIM share strategies involve spotting the best pre-profit companies and being around when they turn to profit.

Chimers - your pint's on me, got to be the fastest profit I've made lol. Though having said that, giant spread right now means I've only clocked 5%, still not bad considering I did absolutely nothing. Lol.

Was going to flip this, but given ST's forecast reiteration I'm going to hold these.

A recent survey found that 90% of buy-side firms are at risk of non-compliance by the Mifid II deadline in January 2018.

The Financial Conduct Authority published its final policy statement on Mifid II implementation last week, however some firms are still struggling even though there are less than six months to go until the deadline.

The survey, published last month by regulatory consultancy JWG, said that 45% of respondents are attempting to implement the requirements with a team of less than five people, while another 45% still have not determined how exactly the obligations impact their companies.

Thanks Chimers, I've just bought some on anticipation of fast profit when ST tips. You've just made me a bit of easy dosh, genuinely much appreciated.

Just bought back the holding I sold last week for 20% less (10.25 paid, sold at 12.85), and should get profit from the tip. Sweet.

Lombard risk share price down c. 15% today. I cant see any news that would cause such a movement. Has something happened at the agm?

I am on the case and will be publishing an article shortly. It looks to be a massive over reaction to me. The company hasn't warned.

Shockingly bad week for LRM share price. I read as the institutions smelling another placing and so not buying in the secondary market, leaving private investor selling on the uninspiring AGM statement to push the price down nicely for them and make the broker's job easier. Hope I am proved wrong.

out....just sold 356,566 shares.....appalling pitch, it may or may not come good, but the level of confidence is low. The management team have dropped this ball unforgivable.

To be frank, anyone who based their buy decision on an Equity Development note target of 26p wasn't that smart. Nor is anyone basing a sell decision on a new note giving a target of "only" 20p.
