31/5/2018 14:42 | No tantrums here, just waiting for the egg on your faces when that mammoth placing drops. | barvin
31/5/2018 14:28 | Children may scream, cry, thrash, roll on the floor, throw things, and stomp their feet during a tantrum. Barvin are you an adult or still a child? | canarris
31/5/2018 13:31 | Missed a word "being" turned round. I did say "in my opinion". | joosepi
31/5/2018 12:46 | How is it turned round? We haven't even seen any concrete figures yet or proof they have a viable business model. 4 years ago, they had a new CEO too. John Kennedy was his name, we all know what happened there. They have a new name, the PROX DNA still runs throughout this company. Being it burns through cash, has pitiful revenues and has never capitalized on location technology. | barvin
31/5/2018 12:34 | LSAI has is now in the control of a new CEO the history of this company is somewhat irrelevant as LSAI is turned round its worth keeping an interest in. IMO. | joosepi
30/5/2018 14:06 | Where is my post " pushing" this stock ? You've had hours to find it, it doesn't exist does it you hopeless liar barvin. Man up and apologise , assuming you are a man or at least male. | tracy_moore
30/5/2018 09:09 | Check the link I posted in #69, you and Plunge in there in all your glory | barvin
29/5/2018 07:11 | Nthn I don't have the technical knowledge to deal with your question on point 2, other than say the Company has clearly stated it only collects permissioned data, as covered by its own private policy statement. If you look into the terms & conditions of the three apps mentioned in my point 1 you will see a clear reference to the members' data being shared with Location Sciences, that is if the said people have opted in. | plunge
28/5/2018 22:25 | Plunge - Thanks, I'm still unclear as to whether or not I am personally giving my location data to them. As we are all conscious of GDPR as of lately, i'm not aware of opting in to share my data with LSAI, so i see this as a risk (if they are currently using it). Are you saying i've agreed to share my data purely by using an Android/iOS phone? If i don't install any third party apps on my phone, will i still be sharing my data? (Assuming i've got the "I agree to share my data with Google/selected companies" tick box checked in my settings? If that is the case (which your point 2 says it is), what would be the need for your point 1? Location data would already be being sent via my OS, why would LSAI partner with other companies to duplicate their data database? | nthn
28/5/2018 20:56 | Nthn - the data is gathered via the following: 1. Principally from a SDK residing in one of LSAI's partner apps, e.g. National Rail Enquiries, or Bus London and Tube Map, both of which are from Mapway Ltd 2. Always on geo-location mapping (presumably part of the standard IOS and Android operating systems) 3. Geo-fencing for ultra-precise mapping of known locations, e.g. stations or supermarkets, probably utilising a yet unnamed partner's technology rather than its own, and finally 4. BLE beacons | plunge
28/5/2018 19:39 | Finally encountered the resident TROLL every bb has it. It won't be around or long thankfully, they never last. | tracy_moore
28/5/2018 18:49 | Does anyone know how LSAI source their location data? Their report states it's collected through iOS/Android operating systems, but via which platform? Do they get an API directly from Android/iOS? Do consumers need to download specific apps which have LSAI software which then send/allow collection of data? How does it work? Cheers, Nathan | nthn
28/5/2018 10:32 | Confirmation of Location Sciences successful collaboration with On Device Research and OMD in measuring brand advertising effectiveness for Google. | plunge
26/5/2018 15:05 | A similar article to the one above, but with slightly more in the way of comments from Mark Slade. It was posted by Too Many Dreams Limited, a strategic marketing, content and communications agency for the advertising, technology and entertainment industries. From its website three notable clients of it are IAB UK, Location Sciences and On Device Research. Further the company's founder, Stephen Jenkins, was recently appointed as an adviser to LSAI. This suggests the coming together of a whole host of vested interests. As the saying goes, 'There is strength in numbers'. | plunge
25/5/2018 11:56 | From across the way with thanks. hxxp://www.thedrum.c | ries
24/5/2018 23:09 | Thanks for the link. Both Havas and Ondevice must be doing something right with Location sciences data insight. | canarris
24/5/2018 21:03 | It is great to see that Location Sciences's work with On Device Research has helped the latter win the IAB Europe Research award in the Brand Advertising Effectiveness category. I expect this would encourage repeat business. | plunge
24/5/2018 11:55 | Very good points. But. The expression "new broom" has a more attractive ring here, new CEO with proven track record, closed off debts, cutting of overheads, shed division, reducing costly staff overheads leaves a mean machine concentrating on location media. This all points to a turnaround of this investment. IMO | joosepi |
