15/10/2013 08:32 | I wish they had just RNS'd the details of the contract win. If they want to highlight the vast scope for growth in parts of their business then just issue it to media outlets in an associated press release. Then again, perhaps, on its own, the contract win would not justify an RNS. Who knows? | shanklin
15/10/2013 08:29 | I'm kinda confused as well esp as we have our trading statement out in 2 weeks..spud | spud
15/10/2013 08:24 | What was the point of this RNS? It looks like the sort of PR drivel of a much less successful company. | shanklin
15/10/2013 07:53 | Cracking stuff - TB is particularly effusive: "Commenting on the news, Tom Burnet, Chief Executive Officer of Lo-Q plc said: "We are delighted at the progress we've made with our mobile products over the past year. After our successful Q-smart trial in 2012 we knew we had something pretty extraordinary, and now we have three parks up and running with a further park ready to deploy the system in the coming months, all in under a year. I am also delighted with the incredible progress we've made with accesso Passport. The very significant growth in consumer adoption is further evidence that accesso continues to lead the theme park technology industry with its innovative, revenue focused offerings. As people are becoming more and more technology literate, guests are visiting parks and expecting to use their smartphone to add to and enhance their experience. It is exactly this trend that Passport and Q-smart leverage and our success this year further highlights the confidence our customers have in the value and capability of our technology. By continuing to stay on pace with the rapid adoption of smartphones by consumers, we are well prepared to capture the next level of growth across our ticketing and queuing business."" | rivaldo
15/10/2013 07:41 | RNS this morning (Lo-Q PLC Strong Opportunity with mobile solutions) well worth reading. Good luck all. | bodgit
11/10/2013 13:59 | I lost 12k on the original float, but did buy 150K of these in single figures. I admit to missing out on most of the gains here but will have to satisfy myself with just the 175k profit overall. | the big fella
11/10/2013 13:45 | Spud, those posts were back in late 02. In the following 3-4 years, the picture turned from being highly uncertain they would even survive independently and without heavily diluting holders to successfully stabilizing the business and setting a platform for growth...and the price went substantially lower even as the risk/reward profile was becoming incredible. Time proved right anybody who sold back then and kept an eye on things with a view to getting back in. | stewjames
11/10/2013 11:18 | Spud: I wonder how many bruises he has from kicking himself over the last few years lol? pp | perceypig

11/10/2013 10:04 | Lol, I'd stick with cleaning if I were you! This clearly illustrates the danger of taking any investment advise from bb posters...spud | spud

19/9/2013 09:52 | Two trades of 40k and 45k shares at 655p, and the share price moved up afterwards (now 660.5p mid-price against the 650p open). | rivaldo
19/9/2013 08:09 | Too expensive & M Cap too small currently to make it a worthwhile exercise. Share split far more likely in the short term.spud | spud
19/9/2013 07:59 | could be,, Anybody heard any more on the possible NASDAQ listing? | glyn10

09/9/2013 16:07 | I doubt it. spud | spud
09/9/2013 11:57 | The FT today reports a fund raising by a venture to cut queuing in retail outlets. "Leading entrepreneurs behind Zoopla Property Group and Caffè Nero have teamed up to invest in a mobile wallet application that helps impatient drinkers skip queues in pubs and other crowded venues." I assume this is not a LoQ venture. Nigel Martin | gnnmartin
06/9/2013 23:27 | Very hot in LA area at the moment. Hurricane Harbour likely getting extended heavy use. | robotface
06/9/2013 10:25 | Good spot davidosh. Do we know if this might be LOQ, or who if not? Can't find any clues online at present. A nice omen for the future though. | rivaldo |
