Baxter - Basically because it gave him a great disposal route @ Market price. You try selling 100k @ Bid without Institutional interest and see how far you get! spud

Could someone please explain the rationale for a director selling 100,000 shares at market price (one third of his holding) because institutions want to buy?

If you could go to a theme park and never queue you'd happily go more often.
And whilst you're not queuing you have the time to spend your money on other things. Its a win-win for both park and customer. So LoQ will become standard.

Nick....that is why they do trials. LOQ will be working closely with Merlin in the trial to get it as near 100% right as possible before a roll out.

Good find strange1. Merlin own Thorpe Park, so the odds are that this is LOQ. I had a search online and couldn't find any specific references other than one mention which said it was "similar" to Q-Bot and Fastpass - though of course this is smartphone-based.

It was trialled on the 19th and 20th, and next on 23-25 August. Anyone planning a trip to Thorpe Park to investigate?!

Thorpe Park are going to trial Reserve n Ride, LoQ's software was initially developed/trialled there, so I suspect it is - it better be!

Oh dear, competition for LOQ:

Disney World is investigating a scheme in which wealthy Manhattan moms hire handicapped tour guides to get their kids ahead of the lines at the theme park.
