:o)) Given all the shares slotted to institutions at 600p recently they must be expecting some rather good news flow...... Did anyone go to Wednesday's teach-in?

Yup, i'm in the wrong job.. I've got some old rope, anyone got any money? I'm being harsh of course, but it's still a terrific bung with more to come!!! I guess that explains the 'Teach-In' yesterday or should we call it a share auction ;-) spud

QPP are currently running them but I think that is because there has been some confusion regarding their product, which like LOQ is software related. I wonder if they have the same PR representation? These events do not seem to be for PIs, they're hard for PIs to access. My thoughts on seeing this news is the teach-in would have been arranged it ages ago but LOQ either forgot to RNS it or simply did it today just as a requirement to notify.

I suppose they could argue that 'privileged access' is exactly what LO-Q is all about ;o)

MTG, that's the point - I'm sure that the major investors and institutions will have been invited well in advance by the organisers, but as usual the PIs get no advance warning. Whereas they should, particularly in view of the support that us PIs have given LOQ over the years before the institutions were even aware of them. This often happens with other companies, but it's surprising that it's happened with LOQ.

A lot of teach-ins are restricted to bigger investors/analysts - but how many of those will drop what they're doing at a few hours notice? Seems odd, unless it is a specific group of attendees who were invited in advance.

Good news re the teach-in today in terms of spreading the word: http://www.investegate.co.uk/lo-q-plc--loq-/rns/analyst-and-investor-teach-in/201307310700155330K/ The bad news - why is there almost zero notice for PIs to attend? Davidosh, were you aware of this event? I'd have thought LOQ would be the last company to make things so difficult given how good TB is usually.

A teach-in today. (Was this advertised earlier? Seems a bit short notice if not.)

None of the 2.5k trades is me. 2k was the most I was able to sell at the bid price and sometimes last week it was only 1k. The price dipped a few times but I backed off then, so most of my shares went through at 595 with the remaining just over 10% going through at 590.

So all those 2000 and 2500 sells are yours - and of course the price has now dipped. Is 2000/2500 the most you can sell at a time at the moment?

Just finished selling 1/3 of my LOQ shares over the last week or so as it had got out of hand as a proportion of my SIPP. Onwards and upwards from here hopefully.

Cheers davidosh, impressive news. I came across this from the WSJ which has additional quotes and info: http://online.wsj.com/article/PR-CO-20130726-910681.html "July 26, 2013, 12:03 p.m. ET.AAA - The Auto Club Group Taps accesso for Member Ticketing Portal .EmailPrinter Deal Will Allow AAA Members To Buy Club's Discounted Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and LEGOLAND Tickets From Single Online Print-at-Home Platform ORLANDO, Fla., July 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- accesso, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lo-Q plc.(AIM:LOQ), has been named the exclusive ticketing solutions provider for AAA - The Auto Club Group (ACG), the second largest AAA club in North America, providing travel services to approximately 8.8 million members across 11 states and two U.S. territories. AAA recently launched a brand new online attractions ticketing portal for their members that provides print-at-home delivery options to the Club's largest Florida attractions partners -- Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa and LEGOLAND Florida. Powered by the accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing solution, this single online storefront will allow AAA members to purchase and print discounted tickets to any of the theme parks without having to visit a AAA branch location. "Providing discounted attraction tickets is one of the greatest value propositions we offer to our AAA members. accesso's solution will allow us to deliver print-at-home tickets to our members' homes 24 hours a day, seven days a week," Jennifer Butler, AAA Managing Director, Business Development, The Auto Club Group. "The new solution epitomizes AAA's commitment to provide valuable member savings in the most convenient manner possible." "We are very excited about the opportunity to work with the most trusted brand in travel," said Steve Brown, accesso Chief Operating Officer. "Our online tool will seamlessly step AAA members through the wide range of ticket options and special offers from some of the largest attractions in Central Florida while enhancing the club's ability to sell and market attraction tickets to its members." Butler added that accesso's ticketing platform will also drive efficiencies at the Club's branch locations. "A number of our members still prefer to visit our branches for travel planning assistance, and by incorporating this platform into our branches, our travel counselors will be able to offer enhanced service to our members when they visit us in-person as well," said Butler. The new online attractions ticketing portal for members is currently available for ACG members in Florida, Georgia, Middle and West Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and then in 2014 roll out to the club's North Region: Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin; most of Illinois, Minnesota; and a portion of Indiana."

The following Press release has gone to journalists and analysts this morning but I cannot see it on our website just yet... Lo-Q names accesso's North American Membership Club contract win as AAA- - The Auto Club Group is the second largest AAA club in North America - Lo-Q is pleased to confirm that the contract win announced on 20 March 2013 has been signed with AAA - The Auto Club Group, the second largest AAA club in North America. accesso is confirmed as Club's exclusive eCommerce attraction ticketing solutions provider to approximately 8.8 million members across 11 states and two U.S. territories. The deal allows AAA members to buy discounted tickets including those to Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa and LEGOLAND. accesso's online tool will seamlessly step AAA members through the wide range of ticket options and special offers from some of the largest attractions in America while enhancing the club's ability to sell and market attraction tickets to its members. AAA also believe accesso's ticketing platform will also drive efficiencies at the Club's branch locations. Commenting on the announcement Tom Burnet, Chief Executive of Lo-Q, said: "I am very excited to be able to announce that we are working with such a trusted brand in travel. Accesso's user-friendly online platform will enhance AAAs ability to sell and market attraction tickets to its members. This agreement not only further highlights the strength of the Accesso offering, but it also reinforces Accesso's position as the attractions industry's leading provider of ticketing solutions." This is the really good news... The company continued to successfully upsell guests to season passes and membership plans, and as a result, deferred revenue grew to $130 million as of June 30, 2013, an increase of $23 million or 22 percent compared to June 30, 2012. " That information tells you that potentially there are 22% of additional users thain itself means demand for Qbots and Qbandst have literally paid up front for anticipated future regular use of the parks during 2013. If many of them return for any number of free visits then the parks will be much busier every day and that creates long queues that will lead to heavy and increased demand for Qbots and Qbands The parks need to be busy for queues to appear. The Summer season is now in full swing. This current three month period is crucial along with a couple of weeks in October for Halloween and the half term holidays. I think 22% additional season passes and membership plans is a great place to be at Six Flags.
