06/9/2016 11:59 | Sad that - if it was your own in-house nominees then of course you would be advising everyone to accept 100% - result is the minimum. The price of being too good a broker Tilts! :) | skyship
06/9/2016 11:52 | eeza, 6.9% plus 5.3% of 93.1... | tiltonboy
06/9/2016 11:40 | I thought the minimum was 6.9% (basic) + 5.3% (extra) = 12.2%, Tilts. | eeza
06/9/2016 11:34 | Haha oh man don't say that Tilton, no one wants to be filtered by you and miss out on your comments on their posts, but it would be interesting to see what settlement everyone gets from their brokers! You'll cause mass silence :p I'm now waiting what I presume will be a few days for BestInvest corporate action to divvy it up and break the tension... | simonsaid1
06/9/2016 11:11 | On the basis that I am the only holder, I got the bare minimum 11.85% tendered. Anybody boasting of tendering significantly more will be filtered! | tiltonboy
02/9/2016 09:25 | Nany thanks for your feedback gentlemen. maybe I also have a greater interest now in the cost of My Rayne's chauffer driven limo! | shaker44
02/9/2016 09:16 | Since the tender price is linked to the share price (+x%) it's possible the next tender could be for more or less, so you may not have lost out too badly. Like many I imagine, I plan to dispose of as much as possible at each tender and close the holding ASAP with a modest % rise overall, rather than try to eke out every penny from this over a longer period. I still think there's residual risk to the share price here as so many PI's are keen to dispose of their holdings after the strategy change and are merely holding out for tenders or minimal share price recovery to neutralise losses. Some of the recent share price stability seems like 'stickiness' to me rather than positive/neutral sentiment. I don't short stocks and my holding here is small so I have no particular horse in this race, but I'm looking to get out of this one in a prompt, orderly fashion. | simonsaid1
02/9/2016 06:19 | You hold more shares - so can tender those in the next tender. Thank you for your 'gift' - Lol !! | eeza
01/9/2016 18:01 | Ah, Thank you, Tilts. | eeza
01/9/2016 17:29 | eeza, I deleted my post. It was LMS announcing a stake in GHE. The balance is the concert party not tendering. | tiltonboy
01/9/2016 16:28 | Maybe Tilts was right & GHE didn't tender, to produce the 12.2% min. | eeza
01/9/2016 15:59 | eeza - I remember being the dunce one day when I forgot to accept a tender in MTH!! Saying that, the next Tender came in at a higher price; and in a previous one I had 56% redeemed in a 21% Tender thanks to the marvellous Group Nominees lottery. Expecting the next one to come in c14% above the current offer. Great stock MTH. As for LMS - 12.2% is a great result & I would expect the actual result from Sippdeal to exceed 15%. We'll see... | skyship
01/9/2016 15:19 | Lol !! We all start off with a pointy hat sitting in the corner - some of us are still there !! | eeza
01/9/2016 14:59 | @eeza - and if you're trying to sell a lot, in many smallcaps the real price is well below the bid! Can see the logic of "last trade" for the price, but only takes something like this, or a misplaced decimal, to make a mockery of it. @simonsaid1 - as @eeza says, 12.2% is our minimum. Because of pooling in nominee a/cs, we'll all probably get more than that, but varies widely between brokers. And isn't the fault of the brokers, but caused by other clients not tendering all/any of their holdings. I've had 100% in 30% tenders before for eg. And 30% in 30% tenders. | spectoacc
01/9/2016 14:27 | Google has now corrected only because a 10k trade @ 61.50p has just gone thro - so they are now using this price. It'll change again depending on the price of the next trade. Unless you're buying the only price that matters is the Bid. | eeza
01/9/2016 14:20 | Thank you Eeza. Yes I've noticed this before with Google, it's a rather crude measure where stocks have a wide bid/offer spread. The closing prices are often pretty bizarre too. It has now corrected, and the humped chart is a thing to behold. | simonsaid1
01/9/2016 14:17 | So with just over 7m shares being struck off and the LMS stake in GHE it might also get re-rated up from 60p even though £6m pounds have now to be deducted from the cash position ? | rathair
01/9/2016 14:13 | BestInvest will - & quite possibly more once they've worked out have many of their customers have tendered. 12.2% will now be the basic. I believe that Google use the last traded price to calculate the daily %age rise in share price - wheres ADVFN & MAM etc use the Mid price, so they are showing a 1.04% rise today. | eeza
01/9/2016 14:09 | SpectoAcc - didn't realise the brokers controlled this. So BestInvest may not pass me 84p x 12.2% of my holding? | simonsaid1
01/9/2016 14:08 | It's because the Tendered shares (7.143mill) have been put thro the Mkt @ 84p. | eeza
01/9/2016 14:01 | Currently up 39% for the day on Google Finance... just realised this is because of the tender. Ha. | simonsaid1
01/9/2016 13:32 | Be interesting to see how much various brokers give - and how nice it would have been to get 84p for the lot. | spectoacc
01/9/2016 13:25 | Tender result - 6.9% basic + 5.3% excess = 12.2% | eeza |
