Boris has no choice but to go for a GE. There would be huge loyalty and sympathy for him having had to deal with his treacherous colleagues. He may just pull it off. Any alternative is just too awful to contemplate. Go for it Boris, nothing to lose now!

Yes lefrene, so who else among the Tories are the red wall voters going to trust and keep them on side? The answer...no-one. Yet it seems most tory MPs are too blinkered to see it. Boneheads, and I say that as a Tory.
Many red wall voters would give Boris the benefit of the doubt as he's had the pandemic and Ukraine to deal with (pretty well btw) which weren't on the radar at the last GE.
Absence of Corbyn would come into play to some degree as he was a no no for red wallers.

Will Boris now finally learn that he needs to deliver a true Brexit to keep the red wall voters on side, and deliver on those free ports. He never seems to learn though and goes from one careless gaff to another and another. Like a big kid that's never quite grown up. At least now he knows who he can trust! Absolutely no one, they're all waiting to stand on his body to further their own interests, personal ambition before country every time. If he is ousted as PM I would expect the Carrie person to dump him in a fortnight, my guess she's only there for the buzz of the power, once out of No 10 she'll be orf is my guess.
