07/7/2022 08:43 | Boris has no choice but to go for a GE. There would be huge loyalty and sympathy for him having had to deal with his treacherous colleagues. He may just pull it off. Any alternative is just too awful to contemplate. Go for it Boris, nothing to lose now! | cheshire pete

07/7/2022 08:30 | Yes lefrene, so who else among the Tories are the red wall voters going to trust and keep them on side? The answer...no-one. Yet it seems most tory MPs are too blinkered to see it. Boneheads, and I say that as a Tory. Many red wall voters would give Boris the benefit of the doubt as he's had the pandemic and Ukraine to deal with (pretty well btw) which weren't on the radar at the last GE. Absence of Corbyn would come into play to some degree as he was a no no for red wallers. | cheshire pete
07/7/2022 08:23 | Boris will end up going to the Ukraine as Zelenskyy's special advisor ...he'll do a Hunter Biden. | utrickytrees

07/7/2022 08:11 | Will Boris now finally learn that he needs to deliver a true Brexit to keep the red wall voters on side, and deliver on those free ports. He never seems to learn though and goes from one careless gaff to another and another. Like a big kid that's never quite grown up. At least now he knows who he can trust! Absolutely no one, they're all waiting to stand on his body to further their own interests, personal ambition before country every time. If he is ousted as PM I would expect the Carrie person to dump him in a fortnight, my guess she's only there for the buzz of the power, once out of No 10 she'll be orf is my guess. | lefrene
07/7/2022 07:21 | The little lens retaining screws must have fallen out of her glasses Merv. You should have ploughed it mate....those sort of opportunities don't come along that often. | utrickytrees
07/7/2022 00:11 | "The UK's Daily Mirror newspaper has apparently published a fake article blaming Russia for shelling in Donetsk despite the city being under Russian control," As civilian casualties mount in the Donbass a ten year old girl is killed by Ukrainian shelling in a residential area of Donetsk. The UK's Daily Mirror newspaper has apparently published a fake article blaming Russia for shelling in Donetsk despite the city being under Russian control, and local officials blaming the attack on Kiev. Ukrainian officials confirm that some of the military aid provided to the country by the West appears to have been stolen with the Russian defense minister adding the weapons are increasingly appearing on the black market. | stonedyou
06/7/2022 23:31 | Advantages of Buybacks It prevents a decline in the value of a stock by reducing the supply of the stock. With the reduction in outstanding shares, the Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the company improves. This is a good indication of the company's profitability and may boost its share price in the long run. Doesn't mention Crashes, Recessions, Shorters, BOE, Government meddling or inflation though | isis |
