06/7/2022 12:54 | What do you think.. covid-19 money making machine. I do believe him!.US should pay compensation if Covid-19 claim confirmed.Damage caused by Covid-19 to countries globally should be covered by Washington if the US bioresearch origin claim is confirmed, the Duma speaker saysThe US may owe the world huge compensation for the damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic..The remarks made by the chair of The Lancet commission on the disease, who suggested the SARS-CoV-2 virus may have originated from an American research program..Speaking in Madrid last month, economist Jeffrey Sachs called the current situation "a mess" and blamed diminishing American leadership for it, identifying the pandemic as one of the US failures. .He said he was convinced that the virus "came out of US lab biotechnology" as opposed to evolving naturally, citing his experience with the authoritative British medical magazine..The US government would not comment on Sachs' remarks because President Joe Biden is "afraid that the world will know the truth about the true culprit of the pandemic.".He added that the suffering of millions of people who contracted the virus, including the many who passed away, and the economic crisis caused by the pandemic were the US' responsibility. ."Th | k38

06/7/2022 12:01 | I bet arja will apply to be a soldier in Canada. He already has the X passport from U.S..Canadian military to allow skirts and hair coloring for soldiersPublished: 6 Jul 2022 | 11:46 GMT.Changes to the dress code were long overdue, the authorities say.Canada has introduced changes in the nation's military dress code, allowing servicemembers to have long nails, face tattoos, and to dye their hair. .The new rules also permit men to wear skirts. .According to an FAQ released by the Canadian military on Tuesday, the dress code revision was long overdue, but the changes were not made lightly. ."The appearance of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has not kept pace with the Canadian society which it serves," the document reads..The CAF says the purpose of the reform, which will come into effect in September 2022, is to make the rules more inclusive and gender-neutral. .One of the major changes is that uniforms will be no longer divided into the categories 'male' and 'female'. .This means that servicemembers who identify as men will be able to wear skirts, given that all references to gender have been removed in respect to items such as skirts, nylons, and purses. ."Both catalogues are open to all members and they may be intermixed. .CAF members may choose whichever design best fits, as long as it is worn as per the Dress Instructions," the military said, with exceptions for specials occasions such as parades. .In addition, recruits will no longer have to shave their heads in basic training, and there will be no restrictions on hair length unless it impedes performance.. Servicemembers will also be allowed to dye their hair and have long fingernails and ear piercings, if it doesn't interfere with their duties..Face tattoos are also acceptable, unless they are associated with criminal gangs or indicate discrimination against others. .In the new version of the Dress Instructions, one paragraph, which prohibited chewing gum, slouching, and walking hand in hand, was removed. .The FAQ, however, says that all servicemembers, while in uniform, should "project a positive military appearance.".While praising the push to honor diversity in the military, General Wayne Eyre, Canada's chief of the defense staff, admitted the move could spark debate. ."Some will consider this progress, while others may see this as unwarranted," Eyre said. "We must be wary of the false dichotomy that we must choose between changing our dress and appearance, or be strong." | k38
06/7/2022 11:49 | ATM re-entry to the EU isn't a good political move. Everyone is tired of discussing Brexit. At some point in the future, we will return, I have no doubt about that. Youth increasingly vote and the ageing Brexit gammons die off. Time is on our side. We can wait. Sadly you won't see any Brexit benefits before you die - because there aren't any. | medieval blacksmith

06/7/2022 11:33 | smurfy ... I have been trying to understand the latest from the Bank of England and failing. Yes we know there is increased risk of recession coupled with rising inflation and interest rates. But BoE have tested and repeatedly said our banks are in great shape to absorb a worst case scenario, and I believe/they say that with strong employment households have the finances to cope with further rate rises. Despite which banks have been guided (ordered ?) to increase capital reserves anyway, a sort of extra buffer just in case. Which will tie up cash, and translate in to tighter lending, the very opposite of what the economy needs. The BoE do not seem to have much of a plan for how to make things better, actually saying and doing things which make things worse. The only tool we have is interest rates? At the very same time the government is consulting with the insurance sector how to ease Solvency II regulations and release capital reserve for infrastructure investment. Not joined up is it. As a LLOY investor I am concerned that the BoE narrative applies pressure and gives the board the excuse, as if they needed one, to restrain the dividend. And I am concerned that too many more interest rate rises will clobber the economy without solving inflation. It is not as though our economy is overheating. The rather narrow causes of rising prices have been the (self-induced) energy crisis and war in Ukraine rather than runaway consumer borrowing and discretionary spending. Now starting to be propelled by wage pressure. We need better tools to manage the economy. And better managers. | marktime1231
