21/5/2021 17:21 | Second jab makes you important | pandy999
21/5/2021 17:18 | cheshire I assume the missis chose the wallpaper just as I assume SAGE tell him what to do at work net You may have a point but it depends on how you define 'left' and 'liberal'. I tend not to make much distinction. Maybe I should. Would you for example categorise Linekar as 'liberal' or 'left' | scruff1
21/5/2021 17:13 | Most of the adult population has been vaccinated for something, what makes you think the covid jab is going to be worse than others? The yellow card is self reporting, why do you trust that? Plenty of antivaxxers can just make that up and report fake symptoms. Some months ago elbee said that once you have the second jab you will be in trouble and this will be soon (ie by now). However very large numbers have had two doses and there are no signs of widespread illnesses. What would it take for you to realise you were mistaken. mr.elbee29 Jan '21 - 16:01 - 15201 of 16970 .....at killing you? Is that what the 89% refers to? or just shortening your life and destroying your natural ability to resist any bugs FOREVER {this comes from taking medical information from the MSM and the government} watch the fun and games when the trouble starts 3 months form now with the second jab.... | dr biotech
21/5/2021 17:13 | Merv, start topic on the treasury if you want...I will comment if I think I can make a contribution. | utrickytrees

21/5/2021 17:08 | Net curtains, I'd agree Metropolitan Liberal elite is a more accurate phrase but disagree that they would draw equally from the right & left, I think there would inevitably be a left bias. The transition goes Socialist Liberal Conservative, to go from conservative to Liberal would be a backwards step. The BBC is full of gullible aspirational youngsters drawn from the four corners of the UK to London desperate to become part of the Liberal elite so it has very limited appeal for those outside of this demographic. | utrickytrees
21/5/2021 16:59 | Scruff1: "I know one thing minnie, anyone blowing £850 on a roll of wallpaper (even if it was one that stayed on the wall more than a couple of weeks) on a place you may be in less than 5 years shouldnt really be trusted with the countries financial well being. So far blowing dollops o dosh seems to be his main attribute Fair point Scruff.....but you are assuming that Boris chose the wallpaper. | cheshire pete
21/5/2021 16:59 | Just as Treason failed utterly in her role as HO minister - so Himmler patel is similarly failing. Is this just about the CS thwarting everything - hence Patel bullying - telling ppl to sort things out - or an endemic recalcitrance in the Civil Service to do anything they do not wish to. So Doris - b4 Cummings utterly trashes u - try to sort out the CS - b4 itis too late. Guess neither you nor your cabinet have an iota how to do so. Sadly, you should have the nous. | jl5006
21/5/2021 16:55 | scruff1: Why should I? I never claimed the BBC was right wing. I said the BBC was Liberal Elite. Can you name a single BBC presenter that believes we should nationalise large sections of British Industry? Of course not. Its a silly question. What is behind you asking such a daft question? | netcurtains
21/5/2021 16:52 | scruff, totally agree with you that this government is authoritarian verging on totalitarian, and they have been using COVID as an excuse. Equally disgusting is the opposition that hasn't opposed a damn thing. Equally contemptible are those Conservative MPs who are not members of the government but still won't even question what the government is getting up to. The cause of liberty is represented in Parliament ONLY by some 80 or 100 independent-minded Conservative MPs such as Graham Brady, and there's not enough of them to do much good. | grahamite2
21/5/2021 16:50 | net Could you name a few presenters on the BBC that have a right wing leaning | scruff1
21/5/2021 16:42 | Utrickytrees: The "left" label is a con used by the right wing. In fact BBC part of the urban LIBERAL ELITE. The Liberal Elite can be left or right (just as many Con voters as Lab voters). However the right wing have been quick to label the Liberal Elite as "Labour" because there is a political advantage in calling your opponents "The Liberal Elite". | netcurtains
21/5/2021 16:40 | Mandarins upto his old tactics minor point concession on the BBC to move the goal posts onto the treasury 🤣🤣 | utrickytrees
21/5/2021 16:38 | Scruff. Lineker, Livsey, Munchetty, Arthanayake....the whole lot are Metropolitan avatars of the left endorsed by the BBC to broadcast their personal views. The BBC aren't fit to broadcast anything their sole purpose is to indoctrinate, which is why they must be stopped! | utrickytrees
21/5/2021 16:35 | This democracy is just below the IDI AMIN so called democracy. Doris keeps preaching . FGS - nothing worthwhile - shut up - and pls start trying to sort out essential services - Govt inertia totally unacceptable - plans to do everything - but competence to deliver - in the cloud - for they just bluff. WTF did ppl vote locally for control - or just phps the MSNs voted and all those with an iota of common spoilt paper or refrained from voting. So think again JR. | jl5006
21/5/2021 16:16 | re 576 John Redwood - our great democracy. Did he not say what should have been? | jl5006
21/5/2021 16:08 | I know one thing minnie, anyone blowing £850 on a roll of wallpaper (even if it was one that stayed on the wall more than a couple of weeks) on a place you may be in less than 5 years shouldnt really be trusted with the countries financial well being.
