n today's brief: Barnier under pressure from Macron not to give away too much as negotiations go to the wire and Brussels seeks to bind UK to future rules. Meanwhile, regulatory delays leave EU trailing UK in vaccine race and Boris plans Brexit ban on live animal exports.Negotiating tunnel? Last night there was much excitement over the claim that talks have gone into the mythical 'negotiating tunnel' on the news that Barnier had stopped internal debriefs to the wider EU and that a specific meeting with ambassadors was planned for this morning. Both sides have since seemed to dismiss the tunnel chat, stressing that "negotiations cannot become any more intense".Instead, Barnier's briefing was requested by member states so they can reiterate their red lines, but this is not a sign that a deal is imminent. Talks are expected to stretch into next week ahead of a key EU summit on December 10th.Barnier under pressure from member states: Michel Barnier will brief the ambassadors of member states this morning as he continues to come under pressure from the EU capitals as time runs out to get a deal. Member states are growing increasingly concerned that he is preparing to give too much away to Britain in Brexit trade talks. The briefing will attempt to calm nerves as we go into yet another 'crucial week' of negotiations and to reassure diplomats that he is not about to cave in to British demands on fishing and other issues. The meeting was called after member states, particularly France, warned the Commission negotiations to hold firm on their red lines. One EU diplomat said the Commission received a "serious warning" from France that it was making dangerous concessions on key negotiating lines "that risked dividing member states". However other member states are more concerned about the level playing field and some don't want these issues risking a complete collapse in talks. Either way, the EU's 'unity' has disintegrated as we reach the final moments of these historic negotiations.Macron playing Brexit bad boy: Macron said yesterday that the preservation of "the activities of our fishermen in British waters is an essential condition" for any deal. However, the EU has moved away from its initial negotiating demand of enjoying the same access to UK waters, although it must be said, not by much. "There is a growing unease among member states that Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, egged on by Germany or not, is doing whatever it takes to get a deal," said an EU diplomat with close knowledge of the talks.Ursula strict on level play field: Britain will remain bound "over time" by the European Union's single-market rules as the price of a tariff and quota-free trade deal, Ursula von der Leyen insisted yesterday. In a move that seems to indicated the Commission's commitment to the level playing field demands, as well as a proposed ratchet clause that will see rules change over time, von der Leyen said the EU wants to go beyond a free trade "non-regression" clause to bind the UK to future rules on environmental and social standards. Regulatory delays leave EU trailing UK in vaccine race: The UK has become the first country to approve a Covid-19 vaccine following large scale clinical trials and is set to make the BioNTech and Pfizer shot available from "next week". Germany's BioNTech and US pharma giant Pfizer said the doses of the vaccine would be delivered to the UK in the coming days after the UK regulatory agency announced the approval today. Regulatory delays in the EU are set to leave Europe trailing the US and the UK in the vaccine race. The UK is due to leave the EU's regulatory framework when the Brexit transition period ends on December 31. It was able to approve the vaccine earlier than the rest of Europe by using a longstanding regulatory provision that allows it to diverge from the EMA in the case of urgent public need. The UK's regulatory body is also examining data on the Moderna vaccine as well as the Oxford-AstraZeneca partnership. Even a few weeks of delay, given the costs of the ongoing pandemic and lockdowns, could cost countries billions and inflict further economic damage.Boris plans Brexit ban on live animal exports: Boris Johnson will unveil a Brexit ban on 'barbaric' live animal exports on Thursday according to the Sun. Under strict European Union Single Market rules that guarantee the free movement of goods, no member states can ban livestock being transported across borders alive. However, with Britain finally cutting ties with Brussels, the process will be outlawed as the PM unveils plans for the legislation tomorrow. Boris has long been a critic of such a trade and now he looks to finally be the man that ends it. One insider told the Sun: "Free from EU red tape, we can now do away with the cruel practice of exporting live animals for slaughter and fattening – setting an example to other countries with our world-leading standards."Space industry should be target for UK-US deal: Defence firm Raytheon has called for the space industry to be at the forefront of any future trade deal between the UK and the US, saying the sector can help the government fulfil its "levelling-up" agenda. Speaking to City A.M., the firm's UK managing director for space and cyber James Gray said that the sector should be "at the front and centre of any future trading relationship" between the two countries. For the latest news and developments throughout the day, please do follow @GlobalVision_UK on Twitter.

The clincher.

"Midwestern states Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin always swing in the same direction as Ohio and Iowa, their regional peers.

Ohio likewise swings with Florida. Current tallies show that, outside of a few cities, the Rust Belt swung in Trump’s direction.

Yet, Biden leads in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin because of an apparent avalanche of black votes in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee.

Biden’s ‘winning’; margin was derived almost entirely from such voters in these cities, as coincidentally his black vote spiked only in exactly the locations necessary to secure victory. He did not receive comparable levels of support among comparable demographic groups in comparable states, which is highly unusual for the presidential victor

Nope no fraud here either...

So quick to "wipe all the data from these Dominion machines!!! Only one reason, to cover up the massive fraud.

"When the poll worker asked if the reset will wipe the forensic info from the machines, the manager said that “Atlanta already did it.”"

Port,

Why didn't you order a packet or two of crisps?
Or a plate of chips! That'd suffice as a meal for some!

I also find it hilarious that I get called out for my name when Goldfinger has done exactly the same - Goldfinger. 3rd installemnt of James Bond films, 1964.

Fannyflaps is clearly too thick to realise he is being a rampant hypocrite!!!!!!

Still, he went to a second rate public school so I'm not surprised.

Certainly Presidents can give pardons for persons who have committed and been convicted of crimes. Bill Clinton, for example, gave pardons to persons convicted of fraud, desertion, embezzlement, drug dealing, car theft, forgery, tax evasion and bank robbery.
