BB - "Nicola Sturgeon has an article in today's edition of The Observer newspaper in which she sets out her opposition to Trident and explains why she would never press the nuclear button."

Her credibility is as low as Swinson's: Sturgeon would never ever be in a position to "press the nuclear button". In any case, the idea is that it's a deterrent. Stupid, stupid woman.

You shouldn't make promises you are not in a position to make. Boris should not have made that promise, but it suited him because clowns like you believed him. Sensible folk, like Alphorn and I, told you that we wouldn't leave by the 31st. Look who has been shown to be right AGAIN! LOL

I'm not predicting a GE result because I think that would be stupid. I'll just deal with the result best I can.

I don't agree with you.. he did a new deal and was hoping these idios would agree, his mistake. BUT we all knew labour, by not agreed to anything, will gain time and change public opinion but it didn't happen.

They will not only lose the election but the second place too to lib dems.

Here is a lesson: You should NEVER make a promise that isn't in your power to keep.

To say Labour and Liberals stopped him from delivering that promise is nonsense. He knew that was the case when he was saying it to the clowns that believed him. Many on here fell for that stupidity - what a surprise! LOL

Well! it was not until I heard Boris delivering the contents of his manifesto did I realize Corbyn/McDonnell were offering "More jam than Hartley’s"! For every £1 extra he will spend, Labour will borrow £28. Putting it that way really concentrates the mind!

So, call them unpredictable
Tell me their'e impractical
Rainbows, their'e inclined to pursue
Call them irresponsible
Yes, their'e unreliable
But it's undeniably true
That their'e irresponsibly mad to get your vote!
Well, they're not too clever
And just want to fool you!
