They want to reduce fossil fuel usage - so no steel
They want to reduce plastic usage - so back to paper
they want to preserve forest and cut paper usage
And they complain about steel imports

Interesting gbh2. Hedge Funds seem to get a bad press, I guess due in part to shorting activities. Counter argument that it is a check on companies acting inappropriately and therefore good in a 'regulatory' sense is a strong one though.

Scruff the stiff upper lip mentality that has served the UK well for the last 150yrs but its under serious threat from the wokie movement imported by the states. Theres absolutely no point whatsoever in opening the pandoras box that is emotional intelligence because we all know it never ends well. Something like 60% of US adults are now on happy pills, it's insane! & all in the quest of emotional enlightenment....ffs Mervs even thrown his bricks out the pram this afternoon, any plans on moving to Cali Merv? Its deeply concerning how quickly national traits and identities can get lost. I feel as though the whole fabric of a our nation is being challenged by the millennials & accentuated by lockdown.

John Redwood@johnredwoodThe EU agreed to respect the UK's single Market. It is important goods can travel easily between GB and Northern Ireland when they are part of our single market under our rules.

Never has the political landscape been peppered with so many utter fools.
Kneel Stammer should have his title removed after his utterances v the Monarch
Wee B needs to be certified - we want to rejoin the EU
And dim Drakeford wants independence
And Alexander persists with bluster.
Pls rip up the treacherous accord with EU - YOU and noone else to blame!

IMO the Hedge Funds are fronted by the Gamblers, Traders, Spivs.

Just an opinion Pete, unlike some I try not to force my opinions on other advfn users.

Lockdown / restrictions til end of year and beyond.
The science reckons it knows but they dont and GPs still hiding away on full pay.
I guess the science will hope for a new bug at the end of the year.
Wales contemplating the utter stupidity of varied rules in different parts of the country. Are u an utter utter fool Gething - half cant even read.
Any "stay-local" policy introduced as lockdown is eased is likely to differ depending on what part of Wales people live in, the health minister said.

Vaughan Gething suggested people living in rural areas might be able to travel further to access facilities easily available to people in urban areas.

"If we do go to stay local, it will be slightly different depending on where you live," he told a press briefing.

He suggested there could be a "few weeks" of stay-local guidance.

Agree gbh2 that for a company with the number of shares in issue such as LLOY, the transactions of small punters are likely of little or no influence, the big fund holders being the ones able to move the market. Puzzled by the inference though that Hedge Funds have more influence than other types of fund ?
