Republican Blocks House From Bringing up 25th Amendment Bill


Rep. Alex Mooney (R-W.Va.) on Monday blocked Democrats from introducing a resolution to call on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump.

The Democrat-backed resolution calls on Pence and the cabinet to “declare what is obvious to a horrified Nation: That the President is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office.”

Democrats can now bring the resolution up for a vote on Tuesday on the resolution. Last week, Mooney was among the GOP lawmakers who did not vote to certify key states for President-elect Joe Biden.

Pence has not issued a public comment on the matter. The Epoch Times reached out to the White House for comment.

As though anyone should listen to Sunak. He should do his own job properly and that means stop wasting my hard earned taxes to cover up for the Tories incompetence and the effects of Brexit. Also set up an independent inquiry to investigate the criminal contracts and gross mismanagement of the public finance contracts that have been handed out for PPE and Track and Trace. How did the fiscal deficit increase from £30 billion to £394 billion and we have still have the worst fall in GDP of any G-7 economy ??? Please answer that question Rishi and set up the investigations.

All throughout the 4 years since getting elected in Nov 2016 Democrats incited violence against Trump...and the media colluded with them.

Sensible people took copies of those Democrats tweeting such for future reference as we LL knew the lying cheating Democrats would not stop until they had tried every single route to getting rid of trump -even if it meant fraudulent ballots at the election as a last gasp attempt.
