Patient
Try suggesting that at a labour party meeting. Come to that or a New Tory party one. It probably would do the country a lot of good but that's of little concern to career politicians

More discipline generally. School leavers should be conscripted into National Service. Round off a few corners.

John Redwood@johnredwood·1hWithout bad news on Brexit the BBC now regularly makes news out of predictions of what might go wrong in the future. Try reporting what is happening not what people hostile to Brexit think might happen

scruff1 - a bed and ISA deal is done simultaneously with a de minimis bid/offer spread,, however you do have to pay stamp duty.

Morningstar have just given a fair value price of 47p based on likely forward earnings etc. Price to book of 0.54. (Any value below 1 represents an under valuation of assets.)

Being cautious I hope.

Cheers Joe. My point is though that allowing your broker to bed and isa means you are putting control in their hands - which wouldnt appeal to me nor I would have thought anyone on here who generally watch day to day movements. Either way you use your allowance. £10k profit on lloy !! I dont whether to laugh or cry. What a difference a year makes and I have been well and truly hooked

The purpose is to use up your tax free capital gains allowance. I presume that you have not made £10k profit on Lloyds?

The recent events in the USA are remarkably close to the plot of Julius Caesar, Trump effectively being stabbed in the back on the steps of the Capitol by Pence.
