"Remainers are concerned it could seriously damage their cause - and they really don't like Common Market 2.0"

Looks like Common Market 2.0 has still got legs. Can't be that bad if the Remainers don't like it.

LK reckons there's a chance that May's deal will get through, but only because she reckons that the alternative would be a softer Brexit. I sincerely hope that those MPs who have so far gone along with the democratic referendum result, stick to their guns. To go against the people would be utter madness.

Some might breathe a sigh of relief if we Remained, or went for a "softer Brexit", but that illusion would soon disappear as folk realised just why we voted to Leave in the first place!

Amazing how folk have forgotten just how much the EU was hated. I've said it before, but it won't harm to say it again - I can't recall a good word said about the institution, it was always "bloody EU". Did anyone hear differently to that.

Cue the make-up artists.

Soon time for people to pay the price for their treachery Shytott

Pity Ladbrokes arent taking any bets.

Overturning demcoracy has consequences which we soon will find out I fear.

Sad that people want to let demcoracy fall just to get their way on a vote they lost.

Well, don't behave like a chimp and I might not treat you like one! There are Leave voters on ADVFN that I have never had a 'crossed word' with.

When we have a 'leader' who says we'll leave on the 29th come what may, then on the 25th busts a gut to change legislation to ensure we don't leave on the 29th, then those who want to get out never really were going to get their way. The Brexit side's leader was a strong remainer whos only quality was an ability to lie profusely.

I would now say it'll be difficult to leave the eu at all.

The politics is changing by the day.

After very recent developments, i'd say the anti-democratic 'we know better than the people' remainers are winning the battle with the decision makers (but very much losing it with the average person). I think it'll be delayed two or maybe three times, then dumped.

I think you are like many alp, unable to distinguish between what one would like to happen, and what one thinks will happen. You think the two are the same - that's the only possible reason for what you posted above.

If we don't leave (as I currently expect, but that may change with developments tomorrow) the long term consequences will be extremely bad for the uk, as dictatorships usually are.

17+ MILLION VOTED TO LEAVE

17 million is a big political movement and has significant purchasing power. Time to start to think about using this.

And there are Dutch bulbs to think about. Dutch Tulips
REALLY THINK HARD BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING from EUSSR
Spanish holiday. Irish holiday. French wine. Belgian chocolate. Think. Etc

The People, at least 17 million can act as well as Parliament.

People. Gloves off. Time to BOYCOTT the EU. The Elite have crushed and twisted and swindled our Democracy. But the People have teeth too and it is time to bare them,

This 'Withdrawal Agreement' cobbled together by May and a two-faced Conservative Party is trying to fob off the The Referendum Result and sell this 'agreement' with Fear.

But in effect it is REMAIN all dressed up in new clothing and method. This will never be harmonious, and now may be the time to consider various campaigns such as whether to buy German cars for example. 17 million voted against staying in the EU. That is a lot of buying power. Think before buy now.

Campaign. The politicians have not listened. The Economic War. THE PEOPLE RULE OK!

German cars and apes

German cars unfinished business

And there is the consideration of Continental European wine. Many fine and exciting wines found outside Europe.

The EUSSR has stated publicly it wants to HURT the UK. We too can HURT the EUSSR too, particularly Germany and Vichy France. Spanish holiday. Irish holiday. French wine. Belgian chocolate. Think.

The People can vote and not be listened to. BUT THE PEOPLE CAN ACT . Think before buying from the EUSSR

Pass it on. BOYCOTT the EUSSR. Tusck wants us to go to Hell – the very Gestapo and Mafia thinking that still lies at the heart of the EUSSR

Pass it on.

ST - while you remain in your world on nonsense I read that JRM is returning to planet earth. Rees-Mogg says it is 'very, very difficult' to see UK leaving EU without deal.

He needs to read more of your rubbish perhaps?

This thread is fine if you agree with ignorant and stupid comments from people who are low achievers - that is obvious.

As Dominic Grieve said yesterday, democracy is not democracy without debate and I have always questioned stupid comments and ideas and I am not going to change that for anyone, ever!

The problem with society is that it seems to have found this confidence (read stupidity) of self destiny which is obviously based on no experience or knowledge. I have founded companies and I have been involved in growing them internationally, I have made millions and invested millions. That is experience and knowledge and I am sorry that if your little minds can't handle that and see it as a boast, it isn't, it is just fact, and sensible and intelligent people would sit and listen to that experience rather put their head in the sand.

The reality is, your envy has stopped you from maturing in success and as a person. You are the loser.

Because it is a warm an cuddly set of posters who seem to believe in utopia. Opposing views are not welcome.
