LMY's neighbour in Zambia has just released this news...

"The Directors of African Energy Resources Limited are pleased to announce that the Zambian Minister for Mines and Minerals Development has granted Large Scale Mining Licence 12634‐HQ‐;LML ("ML") to Albidon Exploration Limited for the development of the Chirundu Uranium Project. The ML covers an area of 248 km2 and contains the Njame and Gwabe uranium deposits and the recently discovered Siamboka prospect (Diagram 1), where exploration and resource delineation drilling programmes are currently underway."

Looking at the maps on their websites, it seems that LMY's Mpande and Oryx prospects are adjacent to African Energy's Chirundu project...

This could be good news for LMY, but I don't know if it has any relevance to LMY's merger and/or acquistion plans.

Scap ticked up again at 9.24am. 3-3, 3-4p

Ayone who thinks that a merger will happen like myself but is planning on getting in on the news is kidding themselves in my opinion. There is hardly any stock not held by private investors, the board and institutions. Around 8 million shares in free float minus shareholders like myself who has around 500k. You will not be able to buy once the deal is announced so is worth taking a position now in my opinion but please do some research in to the board first.

"well got quoted 3.15p for 50k..100k was 3.4p ...pulled quote and took 50k at 3.3 something."

50000 @ 3.38p ... as dealt on Plus :-

And since then someone has paid 3.7p for 100000.

Another 21k odd for me. Maybe that 150k trade at 3p has been holding us back.

An early tick up suggests any continued buying should add shareholder value but I agree the big gains will come on news of the strategic merger.

Selling now could lead to regrets, before release of the strategic review imo.

For what it is worth i have about 120,000

No point in offloading as a strategic tie up with another company is bound to add value to both. Mano River (now African Aura) is a recent example of this and i am sure there are many others.

These shares will not exhibit any sense of direction until news is announced.I agree any downside is limited.Should we get something positive and encouraging,I believe patient holders will be more than amply rewarded.

Where are you looking? Just at the trades on LSE, as reported on ADVFN, or also looking at Plus?

Is it there? :-

Was it you selling those 886 shares????

There simply can't be many in circulation, even though around 25 million shares are held by holders all with less than 3% there has simply been no trades of any significant size to suggest some of these have exited, unless the mm's have somehow taken shares without them showing up. The only other possibility is that a bigger holder is slowly off loading small amounts but isn't notifying the market, a procedure that often occurs and one that I have seen many times. I intend to add to my 100k as soon as I free up some cash.

The shareholders in the recent holdings list own 93.8% of the total shares in LMY meaning that there are only 6.2% in free float which is 7,778,079 shares. I own nearly 600,000 of them. How many has everyone else got? Trying to work out how many shares are in free float as there seems to be hardly any yet share price never really moves. Any good news and this really could go up multiples in one day. Expect a 100-200% increase on the day a merger is announced. That is the potential, with limited downside. I will continue to buy at up to 4p.
