Geomysore to mine at Jonnagiri after FS, says Lionsgold
15th August 2017, 07:57

Lionsgold has confirmed that mining will go ahead on the Jonnagiri gold project following preliminary results of a feasibility study.

The project is owned by Geomysore Services India, in which Lionsgold holds a 21.15% interest.

Lionsgold said that Geomysore had concluded that Jonnagiri was an economically attractive and robust project that could be developed into a viable gold mine in India.

It said that subject to funding, Geomysore intended to establish an open pit gold mine on the East Block, producing 495,000 tonnes of gold ore per annum at a rate of 1,500 tpd (subject to statutory approval to increase production from the currently approved 1,000 tpd).

It said that part of the East Block JORC-compliant Mineral Resource had been upgraded to probable reserve of 2.8 million tonnes containing 151,020 ounces of gold metal, with an average grade of 1.68 g/t at a cut-off grade of 0.6 g/t.

Chief executive Cameron Parry said: "We are delighted to report that the preliminary results of the feasibility study have resulted in a positive decision to mine.

"This is a major step towards establishing India's first privately owned gold producing open pit mine (since India gained independence in 1947) and materially increasing domestic gold production.

"With the FS data we intend to finalise the independent valuation of our India interests, including the Jonnagiri project and surrounding exploration assets within the licensed area.

"These include the West Block and South Block, where Geomysore has drill data which should, in time, expand the gold ore available and extend the mine life beyond the current seven years.

"With the FS data now available, the team at Geomysore can continue making progress with the tender process in respect of the Mine Developer/Operator contract and we expect those negotiations to be concluded this calendar year, subject to completing negotiations with local farmers over the coming months."

miller - you said that about afpo and alo, along with goldplat. All collapsed, afpo and alo are suspended and goldplat is recovering. Your just bitter because of your losses. You have been whining about your losses on goldplat since 2011, I would have thought that you would have got over it by now, clearly not. All your whinging is on the goldplat boards under your other name Daniel miller and more recently you have been saying the same things under rodson1.

Rodrod1 these guys Kimboy and s7' just don't know what they are talking about, they are just wind up merchants with no clue, seeing as they have been stuck in a disaster known as GOLDPLAT.

Watch the Lion roar over the next few weeks......and remember you heard it here first,

To be fair Damille Investment had to sell all the stocks they had invested in, not just Lionsgold. Their stakeholders wanted as much of their cash as they could get back within a certain deadline...

miller - you said you would not respond to my posts, yet here you are lying again.

Perhaps you should stop pretending to be other people. You were ramping goldplat at 16.5p, it collapsed to 1.75p - you haven't stopped whining about it yet. I booked a profit and have already discussed that with you.

Dan I think you will find your small investment is underwater.

There was indeed a new investor last week, but then Damille Investments look as though they managed to dump 10% of the company in August at a substantial loss.

Presumably that went somewhere.

The fact is the feasibilty study was very underwhelming. It is just a liability IMV.

Novice trader, you're wasting your time while these idiots are on board, I'd start a new one if I knew how or had time to find out. You're right though, new blood buying on fundamentals is a good thing.

Expecting news this month.

I knew that you would get so involved in what tripe you were posting, that you would forget about your little deception, this is why I put miller, to see if you will slip up and you have, Miller.

no it wasn't miller. I addressed it simply to miller, on purpose, as I have done on several occasions, with the intention of catching you out.

The very fact that you state that it had been edited, just proves my point and validates it further - miller.

rodson/miller,

I am pleased that you responded to my post, which was addressed to miller. This little slip up by you has confirmed what we already knew, that you are miller and rodson.

I knew you would slip up sooner or later - miller.

you still didn't answer the question either, obviously a bit above you, that sort of content.

There are many definitions of a traitor look them up and see which you fit.

I would also define Tony Blair as a being one of the deadliest that this country has suffered but the clever little barstewart took the precaution of removing the death penalty as a punishment.

as for people being infantile or childish etc etc..

perhaps a quick look at your posts on the "I'm voting ukip" thread, will ensure any reader will see that your disgusting opinions count for nothing.

You sound more like miller every day, oh wait, you are miller aren't you, pretending to be someone else.

As for Goldplat, I told you ages ago, that I had made sales, booked a good profit and had reduced the size of my position to a free carry - the profits have been banked and I have been watching the stock drop. I will be buying more of it again soon.
