01/3/2017 11:36 | Here's hoping the changes lower the average age and up the domain knowledge of the board and we do indeed move to next level. Most tech startups have CEO that have good knowledge of the business they head, mostly founders who have youthful exuberance (under 40, definitely under 50), and a good grasp of social media and its use. In addition they probably came through up the kick starter route which needs a good new media campaign to have succeeded. It needs at least one more change and a hire in my opinion but I've also noted some good additions on LinkedIn, that might form the basis for that in the near future. A Commercial director in a company of 20 employees or less, turning over 2 million or so is a little bit of a made up post for a PLC board. I'm sure Tom is not totally leaving the company. What is notablely missing and has hurt the company is in old terms a sales and marketing director, in new money probably a Chief Sales Officer. I am assuming this was the post the CEO was supposed to be covering as he had no obvious tech or finance related skills. Presumably the new CEO will hire quite soon. The new major shareholders are ringing the changes, good luck to them, their success is ours. I recently added at below 13p on this basis. | sinkyj
01/3/2017 10:41 | Lets see what this new guy can do. No excuses for him not to take LWRF to the next level. I see BG charge £9 per month for Hive control. Wtf | whoppy
01/3/2017 10:22 | About time we had some board changes. Market seems in agreement share price up | nar1
01/3/2017 10:21 | JMF69 - thanks for the link to that review - very positive. Their verdict - "It's not often a smart-home device catches our attention in the way Lightwave has. Installing control devices in every room will initially be expensive, but it's easy to add on equipment at your own pace. The lighting controls are very good, and we can't wait to try out some of Lightwave's other products." Encouraging to see a new CEO appointed - would be even better if he puts his hand in his pocket and buys shares to go with the 400k options granted today. | johnwall
01/3/2017 09:11 | New Directors and Mike Lord still hangs on! It seems they now have no Commercial Director, so what next? and more options: Better the new CEO put his hand in his wallet a buy a huge number of shares. | clocktower
27/2/2017 15:13 | I thought they liked Tuesday or Thursday Nar1 - however someone is happy to pick up a fair wack of stock at 12p and only one MM left on offer at 12.5p now. | clocktower
27/2/2017 08:12 | Thought there might be a Monday morning rns. Back to zzzzz | nar1
21/2/2017 19:27 | COmpletely agree, the social media activity is dismal. Considering there is a lot you can do and it can be a free channel it's not impressive for a PR company. Cleantech is big, media will pick it up if they make an effort. A digital product, digital is the way to go marketing in my book. | pmears1
20/2/2017 19:18 | CT, The Cto did take share options but neither of the most important executives directors took part in the open offer. | sinkyj
20/2/2017 17:53 | Options at some 3 to 4 times share price as at RM2 would give them a real incentive to get the business going - Anyone disagree ???????????????????? | pugugly
20/2/2017 17:47 | The so called PR has done f all imo. | nar1
20/2/2017 16:42 | Hope you agree though that the updated website looks pretty snazzy: I think you might be correct gozo, as they would not have wanted to give the options and provide a very positive line of RNS within a day or so. | clocktower
20/2/2017 16:35 | Well we've had the shake, so maybe an RNS in the pipeline..... | gozo
20/2/2017 16:27 | I expect the CEO and CTO were to embarrassed to take further options sinkyj, rather than come in for even more criticism. | clocktower
20/2/2017 15:46 | The CEO and CTO didn't participate in the fund raising. If you don't believe then please leave the company for those that do. Directors that can't participate in open offerings have no place taking the salary provided by those that do. The CEO didn't even fill his pockets with options. Really time to leave if you can't be bothered to include yourself if the company's future. Expectations set. Raise money, Lose money, raise money, dilute share holders, make your self good with options, repeat. Last year the first announcement made after raising money, was share options all round . This year, exactly the same. | sinkyj
20/2/2017 14:54 | I would not be surprised to see a RNS soon saying those buys today, are directors putting their hands in their wallets.Another few hundred thousand and it will show they have confidence imo. | clocktower
20/2/2017 14:05 | Directors had better start buying. imo, I want to see at least 500,000 shares get bought between them. | whoppy
20/2/2017 13:43 | Looks like someone's still a believer! | gozo
20/2/2017 11:44 | Having sold out last year, I look in now and again and although for yoursakes I wish I was proven wrong and the share price had doubled, it doesn't look like much has changed. My mind was made up after attending the AGM last year and seeing the quality of the directors first hand. I'd recommend that you all try to attend this year's AGM and judge for yourself whether you believe the current board are good enough. No doubting the technology, but everything else is wanting. | greenrichard
20/2/2017 09:57 | All they've done is lose shareholders money. They've created zero value. | whoppy
20/2/2017 09:55 | Bentley, agree 100%. | whoppy
20/2/2017 09:54 | As a long term share holder I am disgusted with the lack of PR and news from the company. Three months on and nothing to show. I firmly believe the company has no idea how to present itself publicly and should now not be listed on AIM. | bentley43
20/2/2017 09:48 | Those options are ridiculous. Why don't they buy the shares now.??? I guess they only want to buy when the share price is 80p so they can make loads of money without any risk to themselves. The exercise price should be 80p, not a trigger for them to load up on the cheap at shareholders expense. If they want shares then buy them in the open market like everyone else. | whoppy |
